(Clearwisdom.net) In November 2000, I was arrested in Tiananmen Square when I went their to
let the public know the truth about the persecution of Falun Dafa shouting "Falun Dafa is
Good!," "Truth, Benevolence, Forbearance is good!." The police attempted to escort me
back to my hometown, but I escaped using my righteous thoughts. Later, I was fired by my working
unit for no reason.
I kept clarifying the truth about Dafa in my hometown. In June 2001, police from the district
police department illegally searched my home without a warrant and arrested me. They stole all my
personal belongings, including 10,350 Yuan in cash, tables, chairs, beds, a TV, an electric water
heater, cooking equipment, and everything they could take no matter how small.
From June 6 to June 8, the police exhausted all means attempting to force me to provide them
information about other practitioners and the sources of truth-clarifying materials. Because I
refused to tell them, they forcibly inserted a mop handle into my vagina, beat the soles of my feet,
pulled my hair and slammed my face, they even shocked me with electric batons after they poured
water all over my body. I was also cuffed to a "tiger bench" during these days. (See

From June 8, 2001 to April 2, 2002, I was illegally detained in the City Detention Center, where
I was forced to do more than 10 hours of slave labor everyday, and was inhumanly tortured if I could
not finish my work quota each day.
On April 2, 2002, the City Police Department sentenced me to three-years of forced labor for
"disturbing the stability of society." I refused to sign their sentencing statement, so
they signed it against my consent and sent me to Tangshan City Hehuakeng Labor Camp.
The persecution against Dafa practitioners was even worse in the labor camp. They used means to
attempt to "reformed" us, and we suffered all kinds of abuses if we did not cooperate. The
following are some examples:
- Disallowed family member visits -- No family member visit is allowed as long as the
practitioner refuses to renounce their belief and practice of Falun Dafa.
- Illegally open practitioners' personal letters and read them in public -- Currently, police
officer Wang has six of my personal letters that he refuses to return to me.
- Detainment in the "strict monitoring unit" for extended periods -- All practitioners
are sent to the "strict monitoring unit" for brainwashing as soon as we arrive at the
labor camp. Other criminals would be released from the "strict monitoring unit" in a
month, but Dafa practitioners are not released until they give up practicing Dafa. We are forced to
sit on a little stool of 6 inches high for over a dozen hours everyday, not allowed to move even if
our buttocks develop sores due to the forced long term sitting, otherwise we are inhumanly tortured.
At night two or three of us have to share a single bed of about 32 inches wide. We had to sleep next
to one another's feet and the odor is very bad.
- Forced reform -- The labor camp often forms so called "special task teams" to reform
Dafa practitioners, forcing us to get up at 5:30am every morning and not let us go to bed until
2:00am to 3:00am the next morning.
- Confinement in a solitary compartment -- for firm Dafa practitioners who refuse to write the
"four statements" including a letter of repentance and a guarantee to never again practice
Falun Gong. They confined us to solitary compartments and tortured us in order to force us to
cooperate. They shackle all our limbs to the bed and encourage other criminals beat us, pinch us,
blow cigarette smoke in our faces and burn us with cigarette butts, step on our chests, and even
forcibly insert wood sticks into our vaginas and twist them.
- More inhuman torture for practitioners who protest against the persecution -- Some
practitioners went on hunger strike to protest against the brainwashing. Police cuff these
practitioners to beds, twist our arms behind until we are unable to stand it anymore and then
shackle us in that position. Our legs are also shackled. I was restrained like this twice. Many
practitioners suffer all kinds of reactions from such twisting, and some could not recover after
several months or even a year.
- Use other criminals to "monitor" us -- They assign other criminals to monitor firm
Dafa practitioners all the time. Each practitioner is monitored by two to four criminals, currently
I am monitored by four. They disallow us to talk to other practitioners, to read Teacher's articles,
or even to practice exercises.
