How SARS Can Help to Clarify the Truth to People in China
(Clearwisdom.net) Today, besides the Iraqi war, SARS (severe acute respiratory syndrome) has become a focal point
for the whole world. However, open coverage of SARS has been suppressed by the Chinese government,
and only after the international community imposed pressure have reports on SARS been exposed in
Mainland China. According to various sources, there are still many facts and circumstances being
concealed. Even though this is an important issue involving human life, the Chinese government still
resorts to deception. One can't help but wonder how much of the truth China's government-controlled
media ever tells? To Dafa practitioners however, especially those overseas, such an incident is a great talking
point to clarify the truth to people in China. Recently, while I was talking with friends in China
on the phone, I mentioned this subject, and I noticed that not many people had paid attention to it
- as if it was far removed from them. The fundamental reason is that they have no access to the news
and do not know the severity of SARS. While I told them about what I had heard overseas and about
the status of SARS in China, and the precautions they could take against it, etc., I followed the
train of thought naturally to start talking about how they consider the SARS cover-up to evaluate
the content of all newscasts in China. In the course of our conversation, I mentioned the Falun Gong
situation. Our entire talk was easy and smooth, and the other person picked up things very quickly. Hopefully, more overseas practitioners can take this opportunity to pick up the phone to call

obstructed, or that your heart is not in the right place, you can first consider telling your
friends and relatives about what overseas newscasts report about SARS, telling them to take
necessary steps to prevent infection, and telling them to pay attention to their health. These are
