Vancouver, Canada: Practitioners Hold Two-day Signature Drive to Commemorate Fourth Anniversary of Zhongnanhai Appeal (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On April 25-26, 2003, Vancouver Dafa practitioners held two days of activities to commemorate the Zhongnanhai appeal. Four years ago, Dafa practitioners' great deeds of upholding the truth without fear of the authoritarian rule in China demonstrated Dafa's mighty power. Today, we commemorate April 25, calling for more kind-hearted people to stand up and join us in stopping the nation's catastrophe, and rescue Falun Gong practitioners who are being detained in China.

On April 25, 2003, practitioners held group practice and signature collection at the Art Gallery in downtown Vancouver. Many passersby accepted truth-clarifying materials and asked about the persecution. They signed their names on a golden cloth to support Dafa and appealed for the end of the persecution and the release of all those who are being illegally detained.

Among the practitioners were several who had participated in the April 25 appeal in 1999. They told the media about their own personal experiences on April 25, 1999, revealing Jiang's plot to eliminate Falun Gong, and how his regime deliberately distorted the truth to frame the practitioners who appealed in a peaceful and rational manner.

On April 26, practitioners went to Chinatown in Vancouver to continue their exercises and signature-collection.
