Walk Our Path Righteously and Clarify the Truth More Thoroughly and Completely Written by a Canadian Falun Dafa Practitioner

We need pay attention to and examine the recent incidents of a couple of
overseas Dafa practitioners' refugee applications being rejected.
1. As a God and as a Human, Every Aspect of the Path We Take Has to be
Upright.
In "Explaining the Fa During the 2003 Lantern Festival at the U.S. West Fa
Conference," Teacher said:
Also, whatever we do, we have to do it righteously, to really do it like
a cultivator would. Don't let the old forces take advantage of your gaps.
When they take advantage of your gaps they'll do those kind of things [you
mentioned]...So when you encounter those difficulties, do more checking of
your own part, do things more righteously, and don't let the old forces take
advantage of your gaps. Those wicked beings that are being controlled by the
old forces have already seen their impending doom, so it's like they're in
disarray, and they act desperately as if they're being pushed against a
wall--they'll do anything, no matter how bad. Pay attention to these things
and don't let them take advantage of your gaps.
Based on the viewpoint of the Fa principles, the evil forces are acting even
more frenzied at the end. They even ignore the old forces' arrangements by more
severely persecuting Dafa and Dafa disciples. While using righteous thoughts to
completely negate the old forces' arrangements and eliminate the evils, we also
need to always treat everything that happens to ourselves and to other disciples
with righteous thoughts. When dealing with everything in the human world, we
still need to conform to the worldly principles so as not to leave loopholes for
the evil to exploit. Negating the old forces' arrangements does not mean totally
ignoring the principles of the human world. Only by achieving non-omission at
both the human level and the higher levels, can we completely disallow the old
forces to take advantage of our gaps.
From this I understand that "conforming to the everyday people's society"
includes handling everything in the human world while best conforming to the
worldly principles, and "righteous actions" also reminds us that every aspect of
the path we take, both as an enlightened being and as a human, has to be
upright.
2. More Comprehensively and Thoroughly Clarify the Truth to Government
Officials.
In "Explaining the Fa During the 2003 Lantern Festival at the U.S. West Fa
Conference," Teacher said:
You've been doing these things all along, and you did pretty well before.
Going forward, what you can do is just to do it on a deeper level, and on a
broader scale.
The majority of practitioners are astonished to learn that multiple
practitioners' refugee applications were rejected. How can these types of things
occur? From our point of view, most governments and people in western democratic
counties like Britain and Australia are very knowledgeable about and supportive
of Dafa. This is clearly proven since many proclamations and resolutions for
Falun Gong came from these countries. However, the recent repatriations of a
couple of practitioners have shown that our truth clarification work to western
governments is lacking in terms of depth and comprehension.
When clarifying the truth to government officials, we often focus too much on
the surface and on formality. For example, we are happy to get a proclamation or
a letter of support but neglect if they really understand what Falun Gong is
about. We also fail to comprehensively clarify the truth by limiting our
audience to only government officials and by not including administrative
offices. Not until a problem occurs have we clarified the truth to
administrative offices, i.e. police departments and immigration bureaus.
These repatriation cases have reminded us that we need to more
comprehensively and in an in-depth way clarify the truth to all governments.
3. Urge All Governments to Rescue Falun Gong Practitioners Being Persecuted
in China.
In "Explaining the Fa During the 2003 Lantern Festival at the U.S. West Fa
Conference," Teacher said:
Why do those countries that uphold justice turn a blind eye to the
Chinese government's persecution of such a large number of grassroots people
who are the mainstream society? Why do they keep silent? There are reasons
on their part, but there's also interference arranged by the old forces, who
make them be busy with the terrorists. That's why terrorists surface every
now and then, distract them from time to time, and prevent them from
focusing on the true purpose of their existence.
We need to more wisely remind these governments of the true purpose of their
existence; our righteous thoughts can help facilitate everything in the human
world. In addition to moral support, we also need actual support (which is
really benefiting themselves) -- to rescue all Falun Gong practitioners being
persecuted in China.
There are good examples in history of how western countries have righteously
rescued people, e.g. saving Jewish people during World War II and giving refuge
to Chinese students after the June 4th Tiananmen Square Massacre.
Jiang's regime has persecuted Falun Gong practitioners so extensively,
exhaustively, and cruelly; this is the most severe human rights violation in
recent human history. We need to make all governments aware that this
persecution is unprecedented in history.
Thereafter, all government officials should do a better job in rescuing Falun
Gong practitioners. They should not only rescue practitioners with their own
country's citizenship and the relatives of their own citizens, but they should
also rescue all practitioners being persecuted in China.
