Brutal Torture of Elderly Women and Teenage Girls in Henan Province Forced Labor Camp

(Clearwisdom.net) I am a Dafa practitioner from Henan Province. Now I would like to briefly explain how I was persecuted after July 20, 1999 by Jiang's scoundrel regime for practicing Falun Dafa.

To ask the government to restore the reputation of Master Li and Falun Dafa, I went to Beijing to appeal on December 29, 2000. On Tiananmen Square, the police who were waiting there arrested me and sent me to Pinggu County Detention Center. Many Dafa practitioners were detained in the detention center, and each Dafa disciple was isolated and put in one single room. All practitioners who refused to tell the guards their names and home addresses were tortured to different degrees. One guard tied my hands behind my back and forced me to bend over. He held down my head and did not allow me to stand straight. Another guard fiercely slapped me on my face. Later, the first guard handcuffed my hands behind my back, and then hung me up on the doorframe by a rope, one end of which was tied to the handcuffs. The handcuffs cut deeply into my wrists. During this period, I could also hear the noises from the next room, where the guards were using leather belts and clubs to beat other Dafa practitioners. I could hear them scream painfully. The vicious guards not only participated in the beating, but also ordered the criminal inmates to beat the practitioners. A woman in her 50s who refused to give up her belief in Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance was also handcuffed behind her back and then hung up on a doorframe. The guards kept swinging her body, and she was in extreme pain.

After I was taken back to Zhengzhou City [the capital of Henan Province] from Beijing, the local police station and the administration office sent me to a brainwashing center, where I was detained for over ten days before I was released. Later, the local police used the excuse of wanting to talk to me to trick me into going to the police station. The police, without following any legal procedures, forcibly arrested and then sent me to Henan Female Forced Labor Camp. I was illegally sentenced to one year. After I was arrested, my elderly parents and little child were left at home by themselves. Under this kind of heavy stress, my father soon passed away.

In the labor camp, I was surrounded by prisoners, who did not allow me to talk to other Dafa practitioners. Every day, the guards forcibly tried to brainwash me and other Dafa practitioners (we were forced to watch videos slandering Falun Dafa). We were also forced to work in the factory, do the prison exercises, and sing the songs. The practitioners who refused to sing were punished by the guards. They were forced to stand for a long period of time and forbidden to sleep. To uphold their faith, many Dafa practitioners resisted the persecution by staging hunger strikes. The guards and the drug-addicted inmates acted together in violently force-feeding, beating, and cursing the practitioners. Some Dafa practitioners' teeth were pried loose by steel spoons and their mouths started to bleed. Big pieces of flesh were gouged out of some practitioners' mouths. The brutal tortures got worse every day in the labor camp. When the persecution began, the guards extended, at will, the sentences of Dafa practitioners who refused to give up their beliefs. Later, the guards used ropes and batons to violently to beat the practitioners. In January 2002, for resisting the persecution, we practitioners, from the elderly who were over 60 years old to teenage girls, were taken out and tied up. Some practitioners were kicked badly on their legs, which turned black and blue. Some practitioners' shoulders were tied so tightly that the ropes cut into their flesh and their shoulders became covered with blood. We were tortured so badly that we could not even lift our arms or walk. Even with the severe injuries, the guards still forced us to do military training, work and prison exercises. Any Dafa practitioners who did not sing, do the prison exercises, or who refused to open their eyes to watch the videos that slandered Dafa would be tortured. In the labor camp, we have experienced extreme mental and physical torture.

I appeal to all the people in the world who have a sense of justice to help stop the brutal persecution of Falun Dafa in China.
