By a Dafa practitioner in Moscow

(Clearwisdom.net) Young practitioner, Liana, first introduced in the article, "A Young Russian Practitioner Spreads the Fa and Awakens People with Music from Her Soul" on Minghui.net two years ago, is very diligent in studying the Fa and practicing the exercises. While elevating her xinxing [heart nature; moral quality], she has continued on her path with her musical performances with the wisdom bestowed upon her by Dafa. Recently, Moscow held a youth music contest in memory of the 100th anniversary of the birth of the famous Russian composer, Aram Khachaturian. Liana represented her school to compete with more than 300 contestants from 100 plus schools. She was outstanding in the contest, and was awarded the Grand Prize for this year.

Liana often holds performances. Almost every time she earns the audience's enthusiastic applause and congratulations. One time after she played Chopin's Nocturne No.8, the piano professors and musicians from the Music College of the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatoire said, "The musical space that this child's soul touches is profound. This is real music." Liana's teachers and classmates know that she practices Falun Dafa. Liana tells them that Dafa bestows her with her unique musical gift and creativity; the elevation of mind and spirit through cultivating Dafa is the only origin of her success.

Although only 13 years old, Liana can be regarded a "veteran practitioner" in Dafa cultivation; she has been cultivating for 9 years and she puts emphasis on studying the Fa. However busy she is with her schoolwork, she will study Zhuan Falun before going to bed. When confronted with conflicts, she makes efforts to ensure a strict self-requirement from the Fa. This time, Liana met with an unexpected tribulation during the week before the music contest. Her music teacher, who always hoped that Liana would get a good grade in contests, departing from her normal behavior, became unusually irritable. She became extremely critical, even over small problems. Thus, Liana's preparation for the contest was greatly interfered with. Facing the sudden interference, Liana studied the Fa intensely, looked for her own loopholes and tried to understand her teacher with a kind heart. At the same time, she asked her mother and sister to help her look for her deficiencies to see her faults in order to correct them in time. Three days passed. On the fourth day, the teacher suddenly and unreasonably lost her temper. She banged on the desk, and even asked the school to cancel Liana's qualification for joining the contest.

Facing this unusual situation, Liana was very calm. She thought, "I must validate the Fa with music on the stage. I can never allow arrangements to interfere and persecute me." Liana sent forth righteous thoughts. At the same time, she peacefully and firmly told her teacher: 1. "I must join the contest." 2. "I ask the remaining three days to be left for me to prepare by myself." The teacher was astonished by Liana's calm and firmness. She even thus submissively agreed to her requirements. Liana knew that it was the power of righteous thoughts. She really sensed from her heart that validating the Fa with music is her great mission.

Liana earned the precious three days. For a 13 year-old child, three days were really too little to finish the work. However, Liana strongly believed because she was a Dafa disciple, she must be able to fulfill the mission of validating Dafa with her extraordinary abilities cultivated from Dafa. In these three days, she strengthened her Fa study. On the day of her performance, Liana's righteous thoughts were very strong. She completely entered into the world of the wonderful music. As Liana said, "Every lock of hair was involved." Her performance deeply touched people's hearts. Some of the commentary committeemen even could not help crying out, "Excellent!" After the performance, the chairman of the commentary committee, Karen Aramovich Khachaturian, a worldwide famous musician (Aram Khachaturian's son) especially went to congratulate Liana. He told her teacher, "The performance of your student is really great. She installs soul to my father's music. I like it very much."

The performance of the young practitioner earned the praise of all the experts and the committee. No one would believe that such an outstanding performance was performed by a child who had only received two years of professional training. Once again, Liana demonstrated the wonderfulness of Dafa with her musical performance.

When Liana got an excellent grade, the first thing that occurred to her was to spread the Fa and clarify the truth to her stubborn grandfather and grandmother in China. Liana told them, "All of my success results from cultivating Falun Dafa. When will you believe my words?" Her grandfather and grandmother were extremely excited with their granddaughter's marvelous improvement, so they kept saying, "Whatever our granddaughter believes, we will believe it. Dafa is good. We've witnessed it. We will practice cultivation once we have the opportunity."

To celebrate the success of her performance, Liana and her teacher held a special small gathering. They invited some famous experts and professors in the circle of music. Liana prepared a precious present for each friend who joined the gathering: Dafa books and Hongfa materials. When people knew that the girl had obtained her extraordinary musical gift because of reading the book Zhuan Falun and practicing Falun Dafa, they all cherished Liana's present very much. They kept saying "Thanks!" from the bottom of their hearts. In particular, the elderly Mr. Khachaturian, an 82-year-old man, took the priceless book, and repeatedly said, "I must read the book! I must carefully read the book!"
