On April 13, 2003, three policemen from Shenyang City used a master key to open the door of a residence near the Zhangshi Forced Labor Camp where some Dafa practitioners live. At that time, five Dafa practitioners were in the room. Among them, one was arrested, four managed to escape. The cause behind this situation is currently unknown.

On March 4, 2003, police took practitioner Ms. Li Yanmei away when she was distributing Dafa truth-clarifying materials. She is now detained at Taikang County's Detention Center. As the police blocked the information and don't allow her family members to visit her, the persecution details are unknown.

On the morning of April 5, 2003, police arrested Dafa practitioner Ms. Liu Yuzhi from Shangqiu City while she was distributing Dafa truth-clarifying materials. She is now detained at the Dongfeng Road Police Station.

In mid April 2003, 55-year-old practitioner Ms. Zhang Guizhi was arrested while distributing Dafa truth-clarifying materials. She is now detained at the Wujiawa Detention Center.

On the afternoon of April 18, 2002, personnel from the Beijie Police Station in Shuangta District arrested Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhang Yongkui from the Shangta District in Chaoyang City.

Practitioner Ms. Xiong Yuhua, 66 years old, is a retired employee from the Dongdu Commercial Building in Dongcheng District. At around midnight on April 28, 2001, she was abducted from home. Police forced her to write a so-called "Repentance Statement."* Since she refused to write it, she was sentenced to four years in jail and sent to Xinxiang City.

Practitioner Ms. Sima Shufen is a retired employee from Lihe District's Metal Pipe Factory. On December 30, 2002 she went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong and was later escorted back. Police attempted to blackmail 10,000 Yuan* from her, but they failed to get it. Sima Shufen did not have any money. Later on, Sima Shufen was sentenced to four years of imprisonment for not giving up cultivation.

Practitioner Ms. An Feng, 52 years old, is an employee from Lihe District's Textile Factory. On July 11, 2001, she was taken to a brainwashing class and fined 5,000 Yuan. She was released a month later. On August 24, 2002 she was arrested at home for no reason and she is still detained at Zhengzhou City's Women Forced Labor Camp.

On October 15, 2001, practitioner Mr. Bai Shaohua was arrested and was sent to the Tuanhe Forced Labor Camp on November 21, 2002. As he is very determined in Dafa, he suffered much torture. Police blocked his contact with his family. Right now, his family still doesn't know where he is detained.

Practitioners Mr. Liu Jindu, a lecturer from the Coal College, Mr. Wang Guobing, deputy director of a bureau in the Water Conservancy Ministry, Mr. Yu Ming from Shenyang City/Liaoning Province, Mr. Zheng Libin from Heilongjiang Province, Mr. Lu Weidong from Shanghai and Ms. Wang Yanfang from Beijing were tortured for their belief in Falun Dafa. In addition, all their detention terms were extended by ten months, for various reasons.

Recently, police started to destroy Dafa materials-production sites with access to the Internet. On April 19, 2003, another location was ransacked and a computer and a laser printer were confiscated. Two female practitioners were arrested. This was the second location that was destroyed within the last two days. The reason might be that a practitioner who had been to the material sites could not survive the brutal torture during interrogation in the police office and revealed the information.

On the morning of April 18, 2003, practitioner Ms. Zhu Yuanxia was arrested from home and in the evening, practitioner Mr. Wang Zhaocun was abducted from home and his house was ransacked. Several days ago, they were both detained for a couple of days and then released. It was said the reason the police previously released them was to find those practitioners who had contacted them. The police then arrested them again after following them secretly for several days.

Another practitioner, Mr. Liu Shutao, was arrested on another day.

Recently, Tangshan City's Lianhua Forced Labor Camp in Hebei Province transferred six or seven practitioners to the Gaoyang Forced Labor Camp for further abuse, mistreatment and torture.
