1. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Trying to Avoid Persecution, Wang Xiuling Gets Fractures

On the morning of March 7, Wang Xiuling was at her job at the Daqing Oilfield Venture Group Co, Ltd branch Jiulong Management Office. The security personnel from the branch of the company and police drove up in a car and wanted to forcefully take her to the Hongweixing brainwashing session. Wang firmly refused to obey them. When the police tried to take her anyway, Wang suddenly had an attack of ileus and she couldn't stand up straight. But the police still abducted her to the brainwashing session, which refused to accept her, and thus the police had to take her to the hospital. Wang returned home after staying at the Longnan Hospital for two days. Yet they still did not let her go and they dispatched someone to watch her in the name of "taking care of her," and kept on harassing her. On March 13, Daqing Oil Management Bureau "610 Office" personnel and officers from the Chuangye Police Station police tried to break into her home, saying that no matter what her health condition was they wanted to take her to the brainwashing session. Wang locked the door from inside. The police saw that they could do nothing, and called her husband back from work to watch her. As a result, Wang decided to leave home. In order to avoid the surveillance, she climbed down along a drainpipe from the third floor, and unfortunately fell off. Her right kneecap was crushed, and her right heel fractured. She is currently in Longnan Hospital, whereas her work unit dispatched people to tend to and watch her every day.

2. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Li Guimin Is Heavily Sentenced to 13 Years in Jail and Dies under Persecution

39-year-old Ms. Li Guimin has been sentenced to 13 years in jail. On February 16 she was tortured to unconsciousness and passed away on February 18. The details are still under investigation.

3. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Three Practitioners Are Captured

Prior to the "Two Conferences," police abducted Falun Dafa practitioners Li Jinghu, Ms. Li Chunzhi and the Party Secretary of the Hebei Technology Supervision School, Lao Lin.

4. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhang Yumei and Yang Jin Illegally Sentenced to Four Years in Jail

Dafa practitioners Ms. Zhang Yumei and Yang Jingang from Mancheng County, Baoding City were sentenced to four years in jail. They are possibly detained in the Shijiazhuang No. 2 and No 4 Jails. Wei Wensheng is the vice chief of a jail specifically charged with persecuting Falun Gong. Details are still under investigation.

5. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] University Student Ren Shizhu Sentenced to Five Years

Mr. Ren Shizhu, 24 years old, student. After 1999 he was detained for 15 days because he appealed for Falun Gong. Later, he was dismissed from his school, the Jilin Engineering College. Now he has been illegally sentenced to five years in jail and detained in Changchun Tiebei Jail.

6. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Police Use Deception to Entrap Falun Dafa Practitioners

On the morning of Sunday, March 9, at 11 a.m., police from the Changan Police Station pried open the security door on the home of Dafa practitioner Mr. Liu Qunming. They captured Mr. Liu, his daughter Liu Hui as well as another practitioner Wang Fengcun who was at his home at the moment. The police stayed in Mr. Liu's home and impersonated Liu in order to call other practitioners (possibly his book of phone numbers fell into the hands of the police). We now know that Ms. Lu Guixia, Wang Fenghe and Lao Cui were thus tricked into coming to Liu's home and were abducted there.

7. [Shijiazhuang city, Hebei Province] Ms. Liu Yanmin Detained at the Wuji County Detention Center

40-year-old Ms. Liu Yanmin lives in Wuji county, Hebei province. During the 16^th Party Representative Conference in 2002 she went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong. As an unintended consequence, she was arrested and detained at the Wuji Detention Center. It is said that when she was caught Beijing police beat her up, but she did not give in at all to their pressure tactics. During the Spring Festival she protested by hunger striking and was sent to hospital, and she escaped while there. Later, because she used unsafe methods to contact other practitioners, she was recaptured and detained at the Wuji Detention Center.

8. [Shenzhou City, Hebei Province] Wang Dajun Vanished Three Years Ago

Ms. Wang Dajun, 54 years old, is a farmer from Taipu Village, Bingcao Town, Shenzhou City, Hebei. She went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong on July 20, 1999 and was arrested and fined. On November 4 of the same year she again went to Beijing to validate Dafa. It has been over three years and we still have not had any news from her.

9. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Daqing Road Police Persecute Falun Dafa Practitioners

Policemen from the Daqing Road Station, Dong Yongping (chief), Yuan Wuzhi, Liu Conghai, and Sun Yongsheng employ various means against Falun Dafa practitioners, such as surveillance, deception, threats and harassment, search about, force them to write "guarantee statements" and send them to brainwashing sessions. Especially before 16^th Party Representative Conference they increased the persecution. Dafa practitioner Mr. Liu Baocai is illegally detained in Changlinzi Labor Camp. He resisted the persecution and later he was released because it looked like he was about to die. Before 16^th conference, Dong Yongping in order to take credit, led Liu Conghai and others to abduct Mr. Liu from his home to Changlinzi Labor Camp and extorted "confessions" by torture. In addition, Lei Min and Zhang Chenpeng have also recently been forced to leave home.

10. [Shuangcheng City, Heilongjiang Province] Meng Jun, Yu Yong and Cang Fengying Arrested

Recently Meng Jun, Yu Yong were arrested when distributing materials that explain the facts about Falun Dafa and the persecution. They are now detained at the Shuangcheng No 2 Detention Center. Ms. Cang Fengying has also been illegally arrested, and her whereabouts are unknown.
