(Clearwisdom.net) As Fa-rectification progresses and Dafa practitioners clarify the truth more deeply, people are more and more willing to understand and accept Dafa. Sometimes with just a few words we can offer salvation to someone.

There are about a dozen small shops where the owners permit me to clarify the truth out in front. Whenever new materials were produced, I would go and tell them about these materials. After a few times, we became friends, and they would tell their friends and relatives, too. Whenever I went to see these shop owners, there always were people with predestined relationships who were just shopping, overheard us talking and took some materials with them. I asked them, "Are you afraid?" One owner laughed, "I don't know you, right? You speak and I listen. However, I like what you say, and I like to read Dafa materials. What it says is quite reasonable. I find that there are so many capable people who are practicing Dafa, and I admire them."

At one particular shop, when I first went in to clarify the truth, there were three people inside. At first, the atmosphere was harmonious. Just as they were listening intently, a woman suddenly came in. She shouted at me, "Still talking about Falun Gong! Didn't you see on TV that they killed their parents and killed themselves by cutting open their own stomachs? How terrible! Don't learn it!"

The three who were listening to me looked panicked. They gave the brochures back to me. I thought that this woman's mind had been deeply poisoned, and I must help her. I smiled and said, "Ma'am, it seems that you have never read the book Zhuan Falun and do not really know those who truly practice Falun Gong. You might have never seen Falun Gong truth-clarifying material, have you?" This woman shook her head. "I've never read any of it, I don't dare to." Seeing her reaction, I was saddened -- the lies on TV had poisoned her to such an extent. I replied quickly, "If, for example, your shop provides good service, is kind to the customers, always gives you what you pay for, then your business is prosperous and has a strong flow of customers. When there is another shop that cheats and swindles, has bad service, then things are different for that shop. Yet this other shop owner's jealousy is strong. Moreover, he is powerful and cannot stand the existence of your small shop. He wishes to destroy you. It might be possible that he uses his power to spread lies about you and do bad things to you. Your business might suffer drastically or even go into bankruptcy. Your shop is the victim, and so are the customers. If those customers start to spread the lies, aren't they helping the wrong side? If once you get to know who is playing these tricks, wouldn't you hope that those customers who believed the lies get to know the truth about your shop? Don't you want to speak out against the unfair treatment?

Isn't that a basic human right? In fact, the persecution of Falun Gong is wrong. Dafa practitioners try to be truly kind people according to the principles of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." Dafa practitioners are the victims of this persecution, but aren't those who don't know about the truth of Falun Gong the victims of lies? If you wanted to know the contents of a book, wouldn't you read it to find out?"

The three people nodded in agreement, and so did the woman who came in. They asked some questions and we discussed some things that were on their minds. After that day, I often went to this shop, and we became friends. Many customers also obtained truth-clarifying materials from there.

It was time for the Spring Festival. I went to each shop and visited old friends. I brought them the latest truth-clarifying materials, which they read eagerly. I felt extremely gratified by their understanding and support of Dafa.

I often go to the morning market to buy vegetables. Most vendors are farmers from around the area. They are forthright, kind people, and I gave many of them truth-clarifying materials. They received CD's, flyers, or cards, all of them with a cheerful greeting on the cover and lots of good information. Most of them are glad to accept the materials, and I told the few that didn't, "Don't worry about it, but it's just such a pity. However, meeting you today means that we may have a pre-destined relationship. Please remember that 'Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance' is good. Falun Dafa is good." They would nod and tell me, "I'll remember."

So just like this, many people seemingly by accident come into contact with Dafa. Because buying vegetable is a routine, this form of distributing materials and truth-clarification has become a routine, too. When going out, my bag is often full of truth-clarifying materials. When I'm coming back, my bag is often instead full of vegetables. My heart is filled with joy at seeing their smiles. I really have the feeling of

Once when I went to the market, I chatted with someone about household matters while buying vegetables. It was very natural that our subject turned to Falun Gong. I handed materials to the vendor and a few other vendors around him. There was a feeling of long lost friends, meeting and exchanging gifts. Gradually, a few more people gathered around us. I talked while I distributed the materials. One acquaintance said, "Do you have any more? Give me some, and I can help you distribute them."

Everyone laughed. I gave him several copies and smiled, "It is very precious of you to think this way. I wish your whole family happiness and harmony!" He thanked me happily. I did not have enough materials, but even those unable to obtain the materials had the chance to the truth about Dafa.

Once, when I was talking to a shop owner about Falun Gong, I took out a VCD and some pamphlets. She put the pamphlets away but said, "My family lives in a village. There is no VCD player at their home." I said, "No problem. As long as you remember the words I tell you today, and go back and tell your family members, relatives and friends not to go against Dafa, it will definitely be good for your family and friends. It is doing a good deed, which will accumulate virtue." While we were talking, a person came by and asked, "What is it? If she doesn't want it, then I'll take it." As I gave him the VCD, I said, "Your predestined relationship must be really strong, here you are! I wish you good fortune and your whole family happiness." As it turned out, he did have a VCD player at home. We talked like old friends. His face lit up with happiness .

Once I entered a market from a side entrance. Along the way I handed out all the materials, but as I was walking out I remembered that I still had two VCD's. I turned around, and an older vendor selling dates called to me, "Big dates, big and sweet." I walked up to him and started chatting about Falun Gong. Another older vendor, a woman selling oranges in the next booth, also joined in. She listened with interest and asked some questions. I did my best to explain the true situations in a way that they could understand. Without knowing it, I'd already talked for quite a while. Before I left, I took out the VCD's. The lady took one right away and said happily, "I have a VCD player at home. I will watch it carefully when I get home." She immediately put it away carefully. I was very touched and thanked Teacher in my heart. I felt that Teacher was by my side and that the Fa can do anything. With so many sentient beings to offer salvation to, how can I remain silent?

Another time, when I was buying vegetables, I talked to the vendor about Dafa, and he was also quite interested. I saw a few people behind him chatting. I gave him a few different flyers, hoping that the people behind him could also read them. Then I went to the next booth, shopping and delivering materials. When I turned my head again, the people behind the vendor were already reading the flyers. I thought of Teacher's words, "Dafa is harmonizing you and you are also harmonizing Dafa." ("The Fa Rectifies the Human Heart" Essential for Further Advancement)

Over the past two years, there have been many such interesting incidents and little stories. It's all very ordinary events that happened in my daily life, but as Dafa disciples, only when we closely follow the Fa-rectification and become one with Teacher, will our actions be truly meaningful. Dafa is nurturing our strength and wisdom, and is also the power behind our righteous thoughts.

Teacher had said, "Dafa disciples are now sentient beings' only, sole hope for salvation." ("Righteous Thought") Even though we don't have many material possessions - some Dafa practitioners were fired from work and had to leave home to avoid persecution -- we in fact have the most. That is because, just by speaking out and telling people the facts about the persecution, we can offer salvation to them. As long as we take action, more and more beings will have a good future. Think about it - who else has this kind of power and opportunity? This is not a burden. It is our duty, our sacred mission, meant for those of us who are fortunate enough to have become Dafa practitioners during this Fa-rectification period. Let's read again Teacher's words:

"Who is really the gallant lead in this gigantic play?

I made this trip just for the sake of sentient beings."("New Year's Greetings to Dafa Disciples in 2003")
