Guam Pacific Daily News: Falun Dafa mixes elements of exercise, meditation

Combining exercise and meditation, the movement of Falun Dafa is better known throughout the world as Falun Gong, whose practitioners have been persecuted in China.

A group of Falun Dafa practitioners visited Guam last week to promote the form of exercise and meditation similar to tai chi.

[Practitioners] conducted meditation sessions Thursday at the Micronesia Mall and provided information to those interested in the practice.

The group also had been scheduled to travel to Saipan, according to Leung Yic, a follower in Guam.


Pao Hui Yeh, 31, of Taiwan meditates with fellow followers of Falun Dafa at the Micronesia Mall Thursday. Yeh said the noise around her at the mall did not bother her while she meditated.
