Instances of Karmic Retribution in China
(Clearwisdom.net) Two Cases of Karmic Retribution in Qushui County, Tumen City, Jilin Province A couple, whose last names are Guo and Li, who lived in Qushui County, Tumen City, Jilin
Province, hated Falun Gong and often slandered Dafa practitioners as result of being poisoned by the
Jiang regime's slanderous propaganda. On March 17, 2003, their house caught fire. However, when the
fire truck arrived, the water-spraying device malfunctioned and would not work. By the time it was
fixed, the house had already burned down. An old woman in Qushui County, whose last name is Wang, once reported Dafa practitioners to the
authorities. One day, while harvesting pears in the garden, she fell down a hill and half her body
became paralyzed. Later, she fell down a hospital stairway during a physical examination. Suffering Karmic Retribution after Destroying Dafa Banners in Changle County, Shandong Province On Jan. 27, 2003, Yang Shifu, who raised ducks as a member of the water administration in the
Town of Wutu, Changle County, Shandong Province, destroyed "Falun Dafa Is Good" and
"Truthfulness, Benevolence, Forbearance" banners posted on utility poles and trees. A few
days later, Yang Shifu suddenly suffered a stroke. He was unable to move his hands and lost the
ability to speak. Now, he is being treated in the People's Hospital, Changle County, Shandong
Province. Financial Performance Severely Declines after Persecution of Falun Dafa at the Shijiazhuang
Chemical Fertilizer Factory, Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province Shijiazhuang Chemical Fertilizer Factory is a large plant, employing nearly 5,000. Before, its
business performance had always been recognized as one of the best in its business category.
However, for the last two years, a small number of officials in this factory have persecuted Falun
Gong, following the lead of the Jiang regime. As a result, the finances of this factory have become
worse and worse. All factory employees have had their pay reduced by three levels. From 2001 to
2002, the factory had to borrow money from its employees to keep production going. Currently, most
of the monthly employee payroll depends upon loans. Once, all employees in this factory were coerced to sign a statement to "guarantee not to
practice Falun Gong." A private and illegal policy was also enacted that stated current
employees could be terminated, and retirees could have their pensions terminated if they went to
Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong. Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution, that is,
being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental
teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe,
"Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward actions that are in
harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will
incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while
evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a
compassionate reminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of
those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires
that they, too, be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of
wrongdoing may they escape retribution. 3/27/2003
