(Clearwisdom.net) During Easter weekend, the 19th and 20th of April, Finnish
Falun Gong practitioners gathered in the city of Oulu to introduce the people
there to Falun Dafa.
On Saturday, practitioners demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises on a pedestrian
street in the center of the city, and displayed materials as well as handing out
flyers that exposed the persecution of Falun Gong in China. The peaceful music
and gentle exercises were an unusual sight on this chilly spring day. The
majority of passers-by accepted flyers, and many stopped to talk to the
practitioners to learn more.
On the Sunday, practitioners went to the market square to practice the Falun
Gong exercises, and they displayed boards with information about Falun Gong and
the persecution in China. At first all of the practitioners were practicing
until the peaceful sight attracted so many passers-by and onlookers that one of
the practitioners decided to stop and answer any questions that they might have.
In a short time, there were many people watching the practitioners sitting in
meditation while the peaceful exercise music echoed in the air. The onlookers
did not talk, but just quietly observed. It was a very beautiful scene.
Practitioners also used the opportunity to meet as a chance to share experiences
and send forth righteous thoughts together.
