Australia Queensland Dafa Practitioners Celebrate World Falun Dafa Day with the Public and Expose Jiang's Crime of Murdering Innocent Chinese Practitioners (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net May 13, 2003) On May 10, 2003, Falun Dafa practitioners of Queensland Australia celebrated World Falun Dafa Day with the public on King George Square in the center of Brisbane. During the opening ceremony, practitioners used their experiences to validate the benefits and beauty of Falun Dafa and exposed Jiang's crimes of genocide and persecuting of Falun Gong practitioners in China.

Three council members of the city attended the celebration and gave speeches at the opening ceremony. People were moved by practitioners' speeches, especially that of 14-year-old Carman. Some audience members were moved to tears. She called on the people to stand up and uphold justice, giving encouraging examples from history. She said, "If a world has no truthfulness, it will be full be lies. If a world loses compassion, it will be full of selfishness. If a world is without tolerance, it will be full of hatred and retaliation ... Let us all work together and end the persecution in China with peace. The world needs Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance."

A council member thanked Carman's speech and said, "The persecution of Falun Gong in China represents a danger. Persecuting a group of people who believe in Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance and focus on self-cultivation seem to be shameful from all aspects."

After the ceremony, the practitioners gave wonderful artistic performances, which received high praise from the audience. One Western lady was full of praise: "It was beautiful! Your performances were so beautiful! Will you celebrate World Falun Dafa Day next year? I hope you do every year." Among the audience were some people from Mainland China, who were also moved by the serene and peaceful scene.
