Dalian Dafa Practitioner Ms. Wang Yuxiu Illegally Sentenced to 13 Years in Prison

Dalian Dafa practitioner Ms. Wang Yuxiu has been subjected to many rounds of persecution for practicing Falun Dafa.

On New Year's Day of 2000, Wang Yuxiu went to Beijing to validate the Fa, and she was arrested and sent to the Yiaojia Detention Center in Dalian City, where she was detained for one month.

In July 2000, Wang Yuxiu refused to write a "guarantee" to give up cultivation, so the officials sent her to the Dalian Drug Rehabilitation Center for two months. In the scorching summer, the police forced female Dafa practitioners to stand up straight and remain in a fixed position for long periods of time, and to run circles around the courtyard. Some of those female practitioners are over 60 years old. The police also forced them to sit on stools and watch TV programs defaming Dafa.

On December 22, 2000, she was forcibly arrested by Jinzhou police, and was detained at the Sanli Jail in Jinzhou City, where a lot of practitioners are detained. There were 29 Dafa practitioners detained in one room alone. Practitioners had to work from morning until night.

On September 27, 2001, when Wang Yuxiu clarified the truth to a cab driver and gave him truth-clarification material, the cab driver reported her to the police. She was arrested and detained at the Yaojia Detention Center. Later on, Wang Yuxiu went on a hunger strike, her body had spasms and was shaking, but the police still didn't release her. On October 28, the police took four practitioners who were on a hunger strike to Nanhua Hospital for force-feeding. Because Wang Yuxiu had serious spasms at that time, the police left her and another practitioner in the hallway, and brought the other two practitioners inside for force-feeding. At that point Wang Yuxiu and the other practitioner got out of their handcuffs, and they caught a cab and left the hospital. Afterwards, Wang Yuxiu was forced to leave home and go from place to place to avoid further persecution. However, she continued with clarifying the truth to people.

On September 4^th, 2002, Wang Yuxiu was arrested again in Liaoyang City and detained in the Liaoyang Detention Center. In early February 2003, Wang Yuxiu was illegally sentenced to 13 years in prison and detained at Dabei Jail in Shenyang City for more persecution.
