A Ninety-Year-Old Man Who Was Critically Ill Recovers by Quietly Reciting "Falun Dafa is Good"

The first day of the 2003 Chinese New Year was my father's ninetieth birthday and so I called home to wish him a happy birthday. As it turned out, he had been sick and bed-ridden for over ten days. I was told that he had not had any food or water over these ten days, and that he was drifting in and out of consciousness. Furthermore, my father's heart was weak and there was no strength left in his body. He even had difficulty breathing. His life was sustained by intravenous injections. Everyone in the family was busy preparing for his funeral.

At that time, I remembered Teacher had said that if a person's mind is filled with Dafa, hell will not dare to accept this person. So I told my family members to show a piece of paper with the writing of "Falun Dafa is Good" to my father whenever he was conscious. They did what I told them. Whenever my father gained consciousness, they showed him that piece of paper while giving a thumbs-up. My father understood and nodded. By then all the medical treatment had stopped. My father, however, regained his spirit after only one day. Slowly he was able to sit up, and then he was able to eat. After experiencing these miraculous changes, my father started to quietly recite, "Falun Dafa is good" day and night. A few days later he had recovered completely, a rosy color returned to his face, and he was eating more than a young person. He was very happy and said, "Falun Dafa is wonderful! I can now live to be a hundred years old. From now on, I will start to practice Falun Gong myself."

My aunt is over eighty years old and was paralyzed from a stroke last year due to hypertension. Because of this her life became very difficult and she was also a heavy burden to her family. I called her from overseas and told her, "You will get better if you just say 'Falun Dafa is Good' and 'Zhen-Shan-Ren (Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance) is Good' everyday from your heart." I also told her family to write down those words on a piece of paper and have her read from it. A month later, she was able to get out of her bed by leaning against the wall. Later on, she was able to walk out of the house with the aid of a walking stick. Now she has completely recovered other than walking a little slower than before. Her son said, "My mother made a miraculous recovery by reciting 'Falun Dafa is good.'"
