Personnel from the Brainwashing Class Brutally Torture Dafa Disciples into Disability in the Pi County Detention Center

At present, there are 70 to 80 Dafa practitioners detained at the Pi County Detention Center "Legal Study Class", in reality a brainwashing class, in Chengdu City, Sichuan Province. Most of them have been imprisoned there for more than a year. After enduring brutal torture, many Dafa practitioners imprisoned there are weak, their tongues and mouths numb, and their heartbeats abnormal. Some of them are bedridden. The minds of some became unclear. Many of the practitioners are housewives. They were arrested from home in the middle of the night while sleeping and sent to the detention center.

The persecution methods

After being arrested, practitioners were not permitted to eat, to use the toilet, or to sleep, for seven consecutive days. If they just slightly dosed off, the police would shine high-powered flashlights into their eyes, and if they closed their eyes, they would be beaten and kicked. During the interrogation, the practitioners were covered with bags or black cloth, and brought to a special darkened room to be interrogated and brutally tortured.

Personnel at the brainwashing class use excruciating means of torture to force Dafa practitioners into giving up their belief, and they frenziedly persecute those practitioners who refuse. The voltage of the electric batons made especially for torturing Dafa practitioners is 36,000 volts. Practitioners' bodies were scorched by these electric batons.

The police often put the steadfast practitioners into handcuffs, after which they would be hung by their wrists and beaten. The practitioners were struck to the point that they were nearly unconscious, but the police still would not stop. The police would only stop when they were exhausted. Many practitioners were beaten to disability, and their hands were often fractured from the beatings.

Dafa practitioners were frequently taken to secret places outside of the detention center, where police coerce confessions using torture. They were also subjected to sleep deprivation. We earnestly hope that international justice organizations will send people to investigate this matter. Please find out the truth and severely punish the criminals.

The major responsible people:

Wu Biao: head of Pi County "610 Office" [an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems.]. He is also the head of the criminals who carried out the forceful brainwashing and persecution.

Bai Lirong: the head of Pi County Detention Center "Legal System Study Class" and one of the thugs who directly persecutes Dafa practitioners.
