Threats Are No Match for Compassion; Evil Is Nothing in the Face of Righteousness By a Western Practitioner
(Clearwisdom.net) After reading an article on Clearwisdom about the murder of another innocent
practitioner, I immediately began writing a letter to those responsible. My words poured out, but they were somewhat harsh. As I wrote I thought,
"Is this too much? Am I doing this correctly?" After I
finished, I sent it to another practitioner to translate it for me. She
confirmed my concern: it was too harsh. I have found some difficulty from time to time in restraining my emotions after
reading the articles about labor camps, torture, and persecution. In this
case, I wanted to shock the evil. I wanted to let them know that they were
absolutely wrong and would not be forgiven if they did not change their
ways. But the practitioner translating it showed me that I need to have
more compassion. She added to the letter that those guards and policemen
are victims too.?Perhaps they too had been deceived by the lies. I
realized that the letter was not only for stopping the persecution, but also for
saving them. Master has shown me his grandest compassion at all times. There have been
times that I felt I did not deserve to be a Dafa disciple, but he has always
taken care of me. In writing this letter, it might be those prison guards'
only hope for the future, so it is my responsibility to show them the compassion
of a Dafa disciple. Threats are no match for compassion just as evil is
nothing in the face of righteousness. I hope that I can improve in this area and truly achieve the effect of
clarifying the truth. This is only my understanding at this level. Please offer any feedback.
