Germany: Falun Gong Practitioners Hold Activities to Commemorate the April 25 Appeal (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On April 25 2003, a group of Falun Gong practitioners from the eastern and northern parts of Germany gathered in front of the Chinese Embassy with practitioners from Berlin to commemorate the courageous peaceful appeal in 1999 by more than 10,000 Falun Gong practitioners. The theme for the gathering was "China Lies, People Die -- 665 Falun Gong Practitioners Persecuted to Death". During the appeal a practitioner read aloud a letter addressed to the Chinese Ambassador and his staff, before delivering it to the Embassy.

To let more people know the truth about the April 25 Appeal, and the facts of the brutal persecution against Falun Gong by Jiang's regime in the last four years, practitioners continued their activities at Church Square in the city center on the following day. Many passers-by stopped and watched as the solemn parade of practitioners, accompanied by the music of Pu-Du and Ji-Shi written by Dafa practitioners, moved through the busiest street in the city center. They were very happy to accept our flyers. The harmonious, peaceful exercise demonstration attracted many people who expressed their anger at the Jiang regime's persecution of such peaceful people. One after another, people signed the petition to urge the German government to be more proactive in rescuing the detained Falun Gong practitioner Xiong Wei, and other detained family members of German Falun Gong practitioners.
