(Clearwisdom.net) I was unlawfully detained twice and hence had opportunities to meet many prisoners. The prisoners impressed me very much when they learned the truth about Falun Gong.

A 22-year-old girl was sentenced to 8 years in prison because she had committed fraud. She was the bully of the cell. She didn't understand why I went to the Tiananmen Square to unfurl a banner when I knew that I could get arrested for it. Because of this I introduced Falun Dafa to her and allowed her to see how wonderful Dafa is. She gradually understood. She disregarded the beating of the guards and watched out for me when I was practicing the Falun Gong exercises. When a new prisoner asked me why I went to Tiananmen Square to unfurl a banner, she replied for me that; "Their Falun Dafa is so sacred they asked that the reputation of Dafa be restored."

An elderly lady in her 60's, who was detained for fraud, often told me the story of the first Falun Gong practitioner she ever met in the detention center. At that time, all the people in that cell started practicing Falun Gong. The guard found out and asked everyone to write a Guarantee Statement to give up the practice. No one in the cell yielded to the guard. She thought one Falun Gong practitioner would be enough to enable all the people in the cell to practice Falun Gong. She held that Falun Gong just possesses that power.

A lady of forty was tortured with every torture instrument. She obtained the Fa in the detention center. She said it would be nice if the tortures she had experienced were for Falun Dafa. When I brought Teacher's new articles into the cell, she was very happy to read them. She was especially excited when she saw the pictures of Teacher sending forth righteous thoughts. She asked, "Can you bring in some flyers? I really want to read some flyers." She never avoided being seen by the guards when she practiced Falun Gong exercises. She said if she could get out of the prison before the immense force of the Fa-rectification sweeps through, the first thing she would do is to go to Tiananmen Square to validate the Fa. She said she has been longing to be a Falun Dafa practitioner in the Fa rectification period.

One night, a drug addict who slept beside me was suffering from withdrawal. I held her right hand and told her to recite by heart the words, "Truth, Compassion, Tolerance". A short while after she started to read silently, she became quiet and soon fell asleep. The second day, she told everyone in the cell, "Falun Gong is really marvelous. It can do anything for you if you just read, "Truth, Compassion, Tolerance."

When I was illegally detained for the second time, over half of the prisoners in my cell were young girls in their twenties. I told them that what solves problems is not the wisdom of human beings, but the compassion of our Teacher, as well as our righteous thoughts. Thereafter they sent forth righteous thoughts with me every night. The first day after sending forth righteous thoughts, a girl told me excitedly, "I felt like I was flying in the air as soon as I pulled my legs up (into the sitting position). What a wonderful feeling!" [Note: only Dafa practitioners possess the power to send forth righteous thoughts. This girl's response was the result of her kind heart emerging after learning the truth, allowing some extraordinary phenomena to show up for her].

An 18-year-old girl who was a very kind person worked hard to advance herself after she obtained the Fa. Every day, she would recite Teacher's scriptures with me. Later, she was transferred to a cell that was quite evil. She said she was not afraid. She would tell everyone in the cell, "Falun Dafa is good!"
