San Francisco Bay Area: Practitioners Introduce Falun Dafa During the Santa Clara County "Unity in Diversity Festival" (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) May 16, 2003 was the first day of celebrations in the annual month-long "Unity in Diversity" festival in Santa Clara County, home of the famous Silicon Valley. A lot of groups set up booths on the plaza beside the County Government Center Building and displayed various materials to the visitors. Bay Area Falun Gong practitioners participated in this event.

Falun Gong practitioners set up display boards showing Falun Dafa flourishing around the world and many kinds of truth-clarifying materials, VCDs and petitions for help to rescue Dr. Charles Li were made available. Visitors came one after another to request materials and ask for details about the persecution of Falun Gong. Some people wanted to learn the exercises after reading the materials. Some people signed the petition after learning the about the situation of Dr. Charles Li's illegal detention in China. They expressed their desire to help rescue Dr. Li.

During the activity, the practitioners found that even though we had done many activities to clarify the truth to the world's people since 1999, there were still many who don't know Falun Gong. Many others have been deceived by the propaganda against Falun Gong.

We shall do as Master said in the poem "Hurry Up and Tell Them:"

"As Dafa disciples tell people the facts,
It's like sharp swords shooting out together from their mouths,
Shredding apart the rotten demons' lies.
Lose no time and save them,
Hurry up and tell them."
