(Clearwisdom.net May 19, 2003) On May 13th 2003, Vienna, the capital city
of Austria, saw its biggest torrential rain and hail storm in over 10 years.
This terrible weather didn't stop Dafa practitioners' activities; they
celebrated World Falun Dafa Day with righteous thoughts, telling many people
about the practice and the truth behind the vicious persecution happening in
China.
Dafa practitioners from all over Vienna came to the city
centre to attend this activity. Due to the storm, certain plans had to be
changed. However, practitioners frequently sent forth righteous thoughts and
explained the facts about Falun Gong to the people of Vienna. The practitioners'
peacefulness and glowing smiles made those who were worrying about the cold
weather much more happy. There are many Chinese people living in Vienna. Some
thought that Dafa practitioners were acting for "political reasons",
and didn't believe that they would voluntarily stand on the streets to clarify
the truth. When they saw Dafa practitioners still talking to people from their
hearts during this terrible storm, they changed their notions and approached the
practitioners asking to learn the facts about Falun Gong. When the activities
finished, all of the Dafa materials prepared for this activity had been
distributed to passers-by.
