(Clearwisdom.net May 21, 2003) I read on a Dafa website that the authorities of a certain city in Southern China were regarded by the Jiang regime as pioneers in creating new ways to persecute Falun Gong practitioners. I made a number of phone calls to this city, but many of them were either not answered or the line was engaged. Just as I was about to give up, one of my calls was finally answered.

Caller: Hi, are you the person in charge there?

Policeman: Yes. Who's speaking?

Caller: I am an overseas Chinese Falun Gong practitioner. I saw on the Internet that you are part of Jiang Zemin's Regime and that you persecute Falun Gong practitioners. I hope you will stop this persecution immediately.

Policeman: [Astonished] How do you know my number?

Caller: Your name and telephone number are both published on the Internet and are available to the whole world. Let me tell you more news - Jiang Zemin is being sued in the United States.

Policeman: Which website?

Caller: Minghui.Net. This website is viewed daily by countless people all over the world. [Pause.] From the tone of your voice, it seems you're a person who experienced the Cultural Revolution. You know the outcomes of those who carried out the persecution during the Cultural Revolution.

Policeman: [Silence.]

Caller: Older Chinese people like us believe that what goes around comes around. Don't you think this could be true? Jiang Zemin uses you as a stick to beat people. You may not truly be a bad person. However, people have to pay for what they owe. Do you understand?

Policeman: I don't quite follow.

Caller: Let me give you an example. It is like someone is paying you to kill. Although the person who hires you commits a crime, you cannot say that you didn't commit a crime. Once the trial commences, you are regarded as the one who carried out the killing.

Policeman: I see.

Caller: So, be responsible for your own future. Do not help the evil people commit wrongdoings any more. Everything would be fine if you could stop your bad deeds.

Policeman: What's your last name?

Caller: My name is not important. It's enough that you know me as a Falun Dafa practitioner. I am calling you from Germany.

Policeman: Oh...

Caller: It's good that you understand. I wish you a bright future. Please take care.

Policeman: Goodbye.
