(Clearwisdom.net) Regarding how to negate the old forces' arrangements, every practitioner has his own understanding enlightened from the Fa. Then how to better break through the old forces' arrangements? After my recent study of Master's "Teaching the Fa at the 2002 Fa Conference in Boston," I gained a new understanding on breaking through the old forces' arrangements. Master said,

"They know Dafa disciples' every single action and every single thought. Everything that Dafa disciples do is clearly displayed before the eyes of higher beings. So be sure to do well and win their admiration."

In fact Master has explicitly told us this Fa principle. My understanding is, in the issue of dealing with the old forces, the best way is that we walk our path righteously and do well and win admiration of the sentient beings in the cosmos, including the old forces, so that they dare not create obstacles for us in the Fa-rectification.

If we ourselves don't do well and have omissions, the old forces will take that as an excuse to persecute us. If we then send forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil persecution, the old forces can see that we didn't do well, yet we send forth righteous thoughts to eliminate evil beings. From their understanding, this is not the best settlement with benevolent solutions. Since the old forces use some beings to play obstruction roles, if we do not do well ourselves, those beings are used by the old forces to impede Fa-rectification, and they are then sifted out according to principles of the cosmos. On the other hand, if we walk a righteous path and completely follow the requirements of Fa-rectification, the old forces would have no excuse to use those gods to commit sins and thus those gods will have the opportunity to be saved, which is truly the settlement with benevolent solutions. Master said,

"I talked about this to tell you that the reason many things in Fa-rectification haven't turned out as well as we'd like is that both the low levels and high levels of the old forces have been doing that together, and they've been using their massive density to obstruct things." ("Fa-Lecture During the 2003 Lantern Festival at the U.S. West Fa Conference")

I understand that the old forces are indeed evil, but are there factors within our own unrighteous actions that render things to not turn out as well as we'd like?

Some practitioners have expressed their understanding that by July 20^th of 1999, Master had already pushed us to our highest positions, so any attachment we have now were imposed on us by the old forces to interfere with Fa-rectification and should be completely eliminated. I think this understanding totally pushes away the factor of us searching inward. We needed to search inward during our personal cultivation period, and during the Fa-rectification period, I feel that we need to search inward even more, from the standpoint of Fa-rectification. Master pushed us to our highest positions, but in order for us to validate the Fa in the human world, Master kept in us some human thoughts. Without the human thoughts, we cannot offer salvation to sentient beings. If we do not search inward and do not walk righteously, the human thoughts will be strengthened by old forces to interfere with the Fa-rectification.

Master came from far beyond the colossal firmament. When Master appeared in each level of the cosmos, the beings of that level thought Master was of the same level as them, yet they respect Master absolutely and dare not create any trouble that directly targets Master. I feel we could never ever compare to Master's great mercy, but I firmly believe that as long as we Dafa disciples walk righteous paths and do well, the old forces will admire us too and dare not create obstacles at will. Let's recall what Master said,

"I think as long as Dafa and I take a righteous path and my students do the right thing, no matter how many biased opinions are out there, they will be turned around." (Lecture at the Fa-Conference in Canada, 1999, un-official translation)

"We are Dafa disciples traveling along the final path towards Consummation. Keeping straight on one's path is also one aspect of validating the Fa." ("Principles of the Fa and Human Sentiment (Qing)" by Clearwisdom Editors)

"Just do things according to Dafa and Master's requirements. You must do everything righteously--this is extremely important, and extremely magnificent!" (Touring North America to Teach the Fa)
