Letter of Support from Canadian Member of Parliament Svend Robinson Demanding the Release of Falun Gong Practitioners Imprisoned in China

Thank you for bringing to my attention your concerns regarding the ongoing persecution of practitioners of Falun Gong in China, and in particular the imprisonment of Jiangang Huang and Jinling Huang.á I will take your message as strong encouragement to continue even more forcefully my work against the unjustifiable persecution of practitioners of Falun Gong and other minority groups by the Chinese government.

I have also acted upon your suggestions, by writing again to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bill Graham and to the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration, Denis Coderre, calling on them to demand the release of these and other Falun Gong practitioners who remain imprisoned in China, and to facilitate their immigration to Canada where they will be free from further harm.

Please be assured that I will provide you with copies of the Ministers' eventual replies.á In the meantime, thank you for taking the time to inform me ofá your concerns.
