By a Dafa Practitioner in China

During my process of clarifying the truth, I am often heartened by the righteous behavior of people who understand the truth. They often encourage me to, "hurry up and tell them." (from "Hurry Up and Tell Them") The following are a few short examples:

Before the Chinese New Year, I met a friend on the street that I had not seen for a long time. She loudly said to me: "I admire you Falun Gong practitioners, you dare to speak the truth." I hurried up and told her the truth of the persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners. She was very angry after listening, and loudly scolded Jiang's dictatorship regime. At the end of our conversation she asked me if I had been "reformed" according to the propaganda on television said. I said no, and she said: "Right! Don't be 'reformed,' don't listen to Jiang Zemin." Before we separated, she again urged me: "Remember, don't be 'reformed' for sure!" I replied: "Don't worry, I won't be brainwashed, even if I die." "Right, no brainwashing, even you die," she repeated, with expectation and admiration in her eyes.

Even though my husband does not practice Falun Gong, he helps clarify the Truth. Since July 20, 1999, my son and I have been detained for validating the Fa. We were "reeducated" through forced labor for three years. My husband withstood a lot, both spiritually and financially, because of this. In the beginning he did not understand, and even hated Falun Dafa a bit, but later he gradually distinguished between right and wrong, righteous and evil. He not only admires the great actions of Falun Dafa practitioners validating the Fa, but he also started to be proud of being part of a family with Falun Dafa practitioners.

He often reads Falun Dafa truth-clarification materials and watches CDs, and understands more about Falun Dafa. Sometimes he even restrains himself with the principles of Falun Dafa, because he has actually experienced the power of Falun Dafa. Once he had a car accident on the highway (he was the driver), but he was unhurt, without a single scratch; all of the witnesses were surprised. He instantly knew Teacher Li saved him. He sent the car for repairs, and the repair shop refunded him 200 Yuan [an average urban worker's monthly wage is 500 Yuan]. He did not keep it for himself like he would have before, but handed it to the company leader.

One day he had dinner at the branch manager's home. Everyone talked about Falun Gong but they did not understand many things, so he answered all their questions, one by one. They all said that he explained things very well. Since then, my husband became more willing to clarify the truth, and often repeatedly reads our truth-clarification materials before he goes to sleep. Sometimes he even memorizes things in order to clarify the truth better.
