Dear Mr. Jasurek:
Thank you for your letter of April 17th, 2003 educating me on the
ancient form of exercise and meditation, Falun Dafa (also known as Falun Gong).
Many citizens of Monroe County participate in group exercise and meditation, and
would be interested to learn about this method of improving the mind and body
through conscious self-improvement, upgrading of the moral character, gentle
movement and meditation.
I commend the spirit of those Practitioners who are working to spread the
principals of Truth, Compassion, and Tolerance throughout the world. Certainly,
the residents of Monroe County value those same principals and are supportive of
people who are striving to promote peace.
