Estonia: Falun Gong at the Mother Earth Fair in Tallinn (Photos)
(Clearwisdom.net) On the 23rd and 24th of May, practitioners from Finland,
Latvia and Sweden participated in the Mother Earth fair in Tallinn. They
demonstrated the exercises of Falun Gong, distributed materials to people at the
fair, and also informed people about the persecution in China. The place where
practitioners had their stall was close to the entrance of the fair, so when
people came into the fair they saw Falun Dafa and had a good opportunity to get
to know more about it. The peaceful Dafa music and the beautiful environment
made many people stop and look at the exercise demonstration for a long time.
Many wanted to talk with practitioners, wanted to have more materials and were
also interested in reading the book Falun Gong, the introductory text of
Falun Gong. People from the adjoining stalls came to thank practitioners and
told them that they were very moved by seeing the exercises. At the end of the
fair, one of them came to film practitioners and the Falun Gong stall with a
video camera.
The organiser of the Fair was very grateful for the
participation of Falun Gong. When practitioners told him that they wanted to
come back to Estonia again to teach the exercises, he promised to arrange a
venue for practitioners and help them find accommodation as well as helping to
let people know about the classes.
During the Fair some practitioners also went to Old City of
Tallinn to give out flyers and talk with people about Falun Gong as well as the
ongoing persecution in China. Falun Dafa was a familiar name for many people in
Tallinn and their reactions were very positive.
