A Grandmother Clarifies the Facts Wherever She Goes

(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Wang is in her sixties. In 1997, after she read the book Zhuan Falun she told others, "Falun Dafa is so wonderful." Since then, three generations of her entire family started on the path of cultivation. Before the persecution began she had studied Zhuan Falun over 200 times. While she was studying the Fa [universal law and principle] and practicing the exercises, she introduced the Falun Dafa cultivation practice and taught the exercises to several hundred people.

On July 20, 1999, Jiang's regime started to brutally persecute Falun Gong. In one city in Guangdong Province alone, more than 600 Dafa practitioners were abducted and then later brainwashed or sent to forced labor camps. They were compelled to view films that slandered Dafa. When arresting these practitioners, police officers and persons from the "610 Office"* searched practitioners' homes and their bodies. They would take away any cash they found. Some practitioners were robbed of several hundred to almost a thousand Yuan. [The average monthly income in China is between 300-500 Yuan] The corrupt officers seized any valuables in practitioners' homes. The forced labor camp personnel instigated common prisoners to beat practitioners. For doing such deeds, the common prisoners were released earlier. The police also resorted to violence to force Falun Gong practitioners to sign a "reform letter" renouncing their belief.

Ms. Wang was arrested, and her home was searched. The police seized 500 Yuan from her and took away two tape recorders. Her little granddaughter was also taken away with her to the brainwashing center.

They didn't provide food for the old lady and the child for more than half a month and tried to force them to give up their belief. A chief named Wang even took Ms. Wang to the third floor and tried to force her to jump off the building. Chief Wang even hit her on her back, trying to strike her down from the third floor. Chief Wang even said, "If you are not afraid of death, then you should jump off the third floor." Ms. Wang said, "I won't jump off at all. Then you can say that I committed suicide. I am not going to be fooled." She also said, "My Teacher said suicide is sinful. I am a straight and noble cultivator. I am not going to do anything that will let my Teacher down."

This old lady clarified the facts to whomever she saw, and everywhere she went, including the police in the detention center, people from the "610 Office," the head of a factory, and passers-by. The evil could not do anything. They tried to murder the old lady but failed. They sent her home and locked her inside, not allowing her to go out. The old lady behaved the same way, telling people that Falun Dafa is good and that Jiang's regime is deceiving and harming people. She tried to let people awaken their minds as soon as possible.

Finally, the police gave in and said, "This old lady will reach Consummation. Let's not bother her anymore." They told the old lady, "You are like my mother." Two or three police officers bought fruit and other food and visited her. They allowed the old lady to go outside, but she is still under surveillance and is not able to go too far.

After the granddaughter and the old lady were released, her daughter-in-law took the granddaughter away. Her son was arrested and sent to forced labor. The police not only took away the motorcycle from their home, but also her son's eyeglasses! When he was released, this formerly healthy person had become a hunchback. He vomited blood when he was beaten in the forced labor camp. The wounds were all over his body and he became "skin and bones." He was also forced to sign the "reform letter." Now he has gotten back on the path of cultivation.

*"610 Office" is an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems.
