Break Through The Old Forces' Arrangement And Follow Closely In The Process Of Fa Rectification By a Chinese practitioner Qing Shun 5/3/2003 (Clearwisdom.net) Many fellow practitioners have shared their understandings on how to break
through the old forces' arrangements. I'd like to share my own understanding on
this topic. In "Teaching the Fa at the 2002 Fa Conference in Boston" Teacher stated, "I've said that the old forces have made very detailed, thorough, and
systematic arrangements in history for the entire Fa-rectification period
and everything that manifests during the Fa-rectification." So how can we identify the old forces and their arrangements? I believe the old forces are not only warped evil beings existing in
different realms of other dimensions--they also include forms presented in our
own dimension. They manifest as self-oriented and selfish thoughts and
perceptions of ordinary human beings, which no longer conform to the ultimate Fa
of the universe. Whenever we do not study the Fa well or lack righteous
thoughts, these deviated old thoughts and perceptions will become obstacles for
us in our efforts to assimilate to the Fa, to validate the Fa, and to save all
sentient beings in the Fa rectification process. They will also become obstacles
to Teacher's efforts to rectify the Fa. In order to conform to the Fa
rectification standard during our cultivation, we must constantly get rid of
those ordinary human thoughts, perceptions, and various attachments, which are
exactly what the old forces use to control and interfere with our human side.
This is in fact the process of breaking through the old forces' arrangement. Due to interference caused by many human attachments, practitioners are not
able to conduct themselves based on the requirements of Dafa. The do not have a
clear understanding of the historical mission and responsibility of
practitioners during the Fa rectification period. The consequence is failing to
reach the standard set for a Dafa practitioner and falling behind in the
progress of the Fa rectification. Teacher said in "Teaching the Fa at the
Washington, D.C. Fa Conference, 2002," "To do well is to not walk down the path arranged by the old forces; the
goal is to not allow the old forces to take advantage of your gaps." Teacher also said, "Whatever happens, only by keeping up your Fa-study can you get rid of
your human thoughts, can you get rid of your attachments, and can you thus
be unaffected by any human things." I realized from these words that in order to become a true Dafa practitioner
during the Fa rectification, we must study the Fa more, study the Fa well, and
truly look at issues from the perspective of the Fa, without using human
judgment. We must truly step away from human limitations without being
constrained by human things. We must also follow the requirements of Dafa. Only
then can we truly break through the old forces' arrangement, rid ourselves of
human attachments, and follow our own paths. Finally, allow me to mutually encourage my fellow practitioners with what
Teacher said in "Lecture on the Fa at the Washington, D.C. International
Conference": "Cherish the present time and make the best use of it--this time is meant
for the disciples. While you cultivate, do Fa-rectification, and move
yourselves towards Consummation, you also need to save sentient beings; you
are creating everything for the future. Everything Dafa disciples do today
is extremely important, and the righteous path they take might become a
reference for beings in the future. In the meantime, they've laid a
