Las Vegas, USA: Practitioners Perform Falun Gong Exercises at Martial Arts Festival (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On May 23, 2003 Las Vegas Falun Gong practitioners were invited to participate in the Martial Arts Festival held in Clark County Library and performed the five sets of exercises. The local media had previously conducted several interviews with practitioners and made detailed reports, so many residents got a chance to learn about Falun Dafa and the persecution in China. However, for many residents, it was the first time for them to watch and experience such a graceful, profound cultivation practice. Beautiful music and gentle, smooth exercise movements brought a peaceful, harmonious atmosphere for the people, attracting their great interest in Falun Dafa.

There are many qigong and martial arts fans in Las Vegas, who are drawn by oriental culture. At the Las Vegas campus of the University of Nevada, there are several courses on cultivation methods, such as those of the Buddha School, the Tao School and practices from India. There are also various martial arts courses. Falun Dafa is also listed in teaching curriculum. Local practitioners have been invited multiple times to give talks to introduce Falun Gong.
