"610 Officer" Liu Wei Responsible for the Torture Death of Practitioner Li Zhongmin

Dafa Practitioner Li Zhongmin was killed for his belief in
Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance in 2002. He was illegally arrested and
brutally tortured at the Kaifa District Public Security Office of Dalian City,
Liaoning Province in 2001.
In the Kaifa District Public Security Office, Liu Wei (over forty years old),
vice director of the "610 Office"*, Sun Deshun, director of the
"610 Office," and several other police officers are the main people
responsible for persecuting practitioners, especially Liu Wei. He brutally
tortured practitioners regardless of their ages and gender, and because of his
brutality towards practitioners he was recognized by his superiors with a
"Third Degree Award."
In 2001, Li Zhongmin was illegally arrested by the Kaifa District Public
Security Office, and brutally tortured by Liu Wei and other policemen with high
voltage electric-shock batons. Liu Wei ordered a couple of police to force Li
Zhongmin against a brick and he used his foot to step on Li Zhongmin's head very
forcefully. Li Zhongmin's forehead was gashed open at several locations and his
jacket was torn into pieces, but he escaped that night with righteous thoughts.
Afterwards, Liu Wei and other police officers relentlessly pursued Li Zhongmin.
Li Zhongmin was later arrested by the Dalian City Police Department in
January 2002.
