Stories of People Accepting the Truth about Falun Dafa after Hearing the Facts Several Times and From Different Angles

A "610 Office" employee had reported and abducted many Dafa practitioners. One of the practitioners who had been previously abducted, after getting free from prison, forgave this "610 Office" employee's wrong-doing, explained the truth to him and cautioned him that everybody will be responsible for his own deeds. The employee was worried about bearing that responsibility. Several other Dafa practitioners who had been persecuted because of his orders also found him and confronted him, making him realize that no matter how hard he tries to cover up the evil deeds he had done, they would be known to others. Dafa practitioners pointed out the consequences of what he was doing, and helped him understand that the trouble he would bring to himself and to his family outweighed the profit he made from cooperating with the evil authorities. After hearing the truth from several Dafa practitioners and from different aspects, he decided not to be against Dafa anymore. He no longer actively cooperates with the evil. He reduces major issues to minor ones and minor ones to nothing; he avoids doing the evil task pushed on him by his superiors by postponing and delaying, and he promised that he would let Dafa practitioners know if he heard anything from his superiors.

After hearing the truth from a Dafa practitioner the first time, one person asked, "Is it true that, even though I do not practice Falun Gong or believe in Falun Gong, as long as I am not against Falun Gong I will be OK?" He also announced, "I am not against Falun Gong." Later he heard the truth from different angles by those who had learned the truth from practitioners and their family members. In response, he said, "Although I don't practice Falun Gong I believe it." On World Falun Dafa Day, May 13, a Dafa practitioner's family clarified the truth a third time, and then he said, "I believe it. I will practice Falun Gong when I retire."

A person with a Ph.D in Philosophy judged Dafa from his own point of view and said some bad things about Dafa. In the beginning of 2000, he received some emails that clarified the truth, sent by some Dafa practitioners abroad. He kept the emails as documentation for study, but he still had prejudices against Dafa. Later, fate led him to meet a Dafa practitioner in person. The practitioner explained the facts to him from many perspectives, including belief in human rights, science and history, and the truth of the persecution. The Dafa practitioner also gave him materials about water crystallization experiments, medical experiments, and prophesies. The Doctor of Philosophy not only accepted these, he also agreed to use his position to share the truth with his well-known friends.

The wife of an official did not believe that Dafa practitioners are bad people; however she did not believe the facts about Falun Gong. Since the summer of 2000, she kept receiving truth-clarifying materials from Dafa practitioners, but she still did not believe it. One time when she was visiting Hong Kong as a tourist, she met Dafa practitioners handing out truth-clarifying materials as soon as she landed in the Hong Kong airport. Falun Gong is legal in Hong Kong! Learning this fact shocked her. She suddenly realized that what she had read on the flyers was all true. Her husband was also surprised when he heard about it from his wife. They started to re-think the Falun Gong issue. Later a Dafa practitioner explained the truth to the official (her husband) face-to-face; but he did not successfully persuade the official because he did not clearly explain one issue. After the Dafa practitioner went back to look into more materials, he sincerely told the official, "Last time I was not clear about this issue myself. Now I understand. Here is some related material that explains the facts more clearly than I did." The Dafa practitioner's honesty about his own shortcomings earned the respect of the official. The official carefully reconsidered his point of view. The change in the official also promoted a change in his stubborn wife. Now they both understand the truth and have started to tell other people; they've even started to read Dafa books.
