Dafa Practitioner Mr. Wu Zhitao, a Township Official in Guangdong Province, is Abducted and Detained for the Third Time

(Clearwisdom.net) Dafa disciple Wu Zhitao, a township level official from Guangdong Province believes in "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance," holds himself to high standards and serves the people with dedication.

After the 2001 opening of the Jieyang City brainwashing center, Wu Zhitao was taken there for thee months and was later held in a detention center for five months, since he continued to practice Falun Gong. In the detention center he was forced to perform hard labor day and night and went on a hunger strike to protest the persecution. Inmates brutally force-fed him. The authorities sent him home when his life was in danger.

In February 2002, Wu was again taken to this detention center. He began a hunger strike again and lost two teeth while some guards force-fed him by prying his mouth open with a tool. A few guards lifted him up and threw him heavily to the ground. Everyone could hear Wu's screams. He was released after experiencing such brutal torture.

On the evening of September 15, 2002, the night before the 16th Party Congress, dozens of Jieyang City police surrounded Mr. Wu's house. Again he was arrested, and the police also stole his motorcycle. Currently Wu Zhitao is imprisoned in the First Detention Center. He hasn't seen his family members for over seven months.

We hope kind people will extend a helping hand to assist freeing innocent Falun Dafa disciples who are persecuted in China.
