On March 13, the police in Shulan City, Jilin Province broke into many practitioners' homes, arrested them illegally, and ransacked their homes.

Practitioners who are now known to be jailed in the Heizuizi Female Labor Camp in Changchun City, Jilin Province include: Ma Lan, Zhang Yuezhi, Guo Lijuan, Shao Guirong, Chen Yafen, Fan Guolan, Qu Zhimin, Xu Guiping, Meng Xianqin, Dong Haifen, Qu Xiumin, and Guan Changchun.

Practitioners who are jailed in Yinmahe Labor Camp in Jiutai City, Jilin Province include Zhao Yiguang and Chen Ji.

Practitioners Liu Dapeng and Liu Shuanghui (female) were illegally arrested on the night of September 20, 2002 in their rented house. The house was ransacked and lots of their equipment plus over twenty thousand Yuan were confiscated. The two were illegally detained and persecuted in the Jilin City First Detention Center for over half a year. In April 2003, they were illegally sentenced to eleven and eight years respectively in prison.
