More Details about the Shooting of Falun Dafa Practitioner Xu Zhaobin in Anshan City, Liaoning Province

I am a Falun Dafa practitioner from Anshan City, Liaoning Province. I witnessed the shooting by Anshan city police, of practitioner Xu Zhaobin, who participated in a cable television broadcast clarifying the truth about Falun Dafa. Xu Zhaobin, a 38 year old male, lived in Likaibao Village, Shoushan Town, Liaoyang County, Liaoyang City, Liaoning Province.

Late at night between 11:30 pm and midnight on February 16, 2002, Falun Dafa practitioner Zhang Peng (presently imprisoned in Liaoyang county detention center and illegally sentenced to seven years in prison) and I were awakened by loud knocking at the door. We saw Falun Dafa practitioners Zhang Li (female, recently persecuted to death in the Anshan city dention center) and Xu Zhaobin. Xu looked pale. Zhang Li told us, "Xu Zhaobin was involved in a cable television broadcast clarifying the truth about Falun Dafa, and was shot by the police in his thigh and nose." Taking off his pants, Xu Zhaobin showed us the bullet hole in his thigh. We saw that the front and back of his thigh were covered with a very thick layer of toilet paper, with blood seeping through. The blood on his nose where he had been grazed by a bullet was half coagulated. I helped him change the toilet paper dressing and saw the bullet wound on the front and back of his thigh. I wrapped the wound and let him lie on his side on the bed. After two days, we thought we should post the news of the shooting on Clearwisdon.net and seek help from all kind people around the world, in order to stop the dictator's persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners. We took a picture of what had happened and emailed it to Clearwisdom.net immediately. The Anshan City Public Security Bureau blocked any public exposure of the news on this matter. On March 19, 2002, Xu Zhaobin's wife was kidnapped at the Rental Office of Number 61 Middle School, Shuiyuan Street, Lishan District, Anshan City, Liaoning Province. On that same evening, Xu Zhaobin left both of us. In Fall of 2002, (exact time unclear), Xu Zhaobin was illegally kidnapped in Kangpin County, Liaoning Province. Now it is unclear where he is being imprisoned.

Currently Falun Dafa practitioners Sheng Hailong, Lao Wei (exact name unclear) and others who were involved in cable television broadcasting of Dafa truth-clarifying programs have been taken away, and their whereabouts are unknown.

Anshan City police have even resorted to firing upon Falun Dafa practitioners while trying to capture them. This has shown the people of the world more clearly that the persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners who simply believe in Truthfulness, Benevolence, and Forbearance by Jiang's regime is extremely brutal.
