List of Perpetrators and Accounts of the Persecution Against Dafa Practitioners in Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province

On April 19, 2003, an article on Clearwisdom.net reported that on the night of December 30, 2002, Liaoning Province Chaoyang City Dafa practitioner Wu Rongjie was kidnapped at the entrance of a fellow practitioner's residence by Liu Guozheng, the deputy director of the Linghe local police station and two other police officers from Shuangta District Public Security Sub-bureau. Both of Wu's hands were handcuffed to a stool for one night in the Linghe local police station, and on the second day, he was hung up by his handcuffs for one day in the national protection brigade of Shuangta District Public Security Sub-bureau. Dafa practitioner Wu Rongjie did not cooperate the authorities, and was illegally detained at the Wujiawa No. 1 Detention Centre at 5 pm.

On January 18, 2003, Chaoyang City Dafa practitioners Meng Qingxiang and Zhang Cuihua went to Jianping County to clarify the truth, and were kidnapped by police in the town of Yebaishou. They suffered torture and abuse in the Yebaishou detention center. On January 28, the national protection brigade of Jianping County Public Security Bureau sent them back to Chaoyang City, and detained them in the Chaoyang City No. 1 Detention Centre. They are now both being illegally held on a warrant for their arrest by Shuangta District Prosecutor's Office when they did not commit any crime.

On January 22, 2003, Chaoyang City Dafa practitioner Yan Xu Guang was kidnapped near Chaoyang City Jinyuan Market by several police from the national protection unit of Shuangta District Public Security Sub-bureau, and was subsequently tortured in an effort to get him to give up his belief in Dafa . Mr. Yan was then taken away to the Chaoyang City Xidayingzi Forced Labor Camp for further persecution.
