Kansas State Capitol Hosts Falun Dafa Truth-Clarifying Photo Exhibition (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net May 5 2003) To celebrate the eleventh anniversary of Falun Dafa being introduced to the world and to celebrate the coming World Falun Dafa Day, Kansas practitioners successfully held a Falun Dafa truth-clarifying photo exhibition in the state capitol during April 25 to May 2^nd.

Though it encountered some interference during the application, the photo exhibition was successfully launched on the ground floor of the State Capitol on April 25^th because of the strong righteous mindset of the practitioners and the help from state congresspersons and state representatives.

The Photo exhibition has three parts: "Falun Dafa's Spread to the World", "Jiang Regime's Persecution of Falun Gong" and "Worldwide Peaceful Appeal to Stop the Persecution". The major portion deal with the Falun Gong practitioners in China who have experienced torture.

During the weeklong exhibition, many truth-clarifying materials put on the table were taken by the visitors. Many staff members working in the state capitol asked us how to learn Falun Gong and strongly condemned the Jiang Regime's state terrorism. Every day, there were numerous people and groups coming to visit the state capitol. Especially during April 30 to May 2^nd, it was the time for State Representatives to come back to work. The practitioners took advantage of this good opportunity to deliver truth-clarifying packages to every office on April 29. They held a press conference in the hall of the first floor on April 30^th. At the press conference, the practitioners introduced Falun Dafa's wide spread to the world, how cultivating Falun Dafa has brought health to their bodies and minds, how Falun Dafa has been welcomed in the state of Kansas, and the lawsuit against Jiang for genocide. Local practitioner Mr. David Snape spoke of his experience of peacefully appealing in Beijing and being detained by Jiang's regime.

On May 2^nd, practitioners visited each office again and clarified the truth to every staff member they met. They were pleased to find out that many representatives had read our truth-clarifying materials and visited the photo exhibition, even though they were very busy.

Through this activity, the practitioners experienced more about the strength of a unified body, the power of Dafa and the understanding of the pure mindset of "doing without pursuit."
