Brutalities in Daqing City Forced Labor Camp: Dafa Practitioners Doused with Ice-cold Water and Force-fed Urine and Excrement

(Clearwisdom.net, April 23, 2003) I am a Falun Gong practitioner. I went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong on January 1, 2001, but was arrested and illegally detained at the Shijingshan Detention Center in Beijing. Two policemen there interrogated me while violently slapping my face. When their hands began to ache, they used their shoes to slap my face until my face was swollen, and my right ear was damaged. The guards in the detention center also beat me with their fists and feet. After being detained there for thirteen days, I was transferred to the county detention center in my hometown and was detained there for a month. After that I was transferred to the Public Security Detention Center and was detained there for four months. Then the local police department illegally sentenced me to two years in a forced labor camp. During the two years in the Daqing City Forced Labor Camp, I maintained my firm belief in Falun Dafa. Wang Yongxiang, the Vice Director of the labor camp, Han Qingshan, the Chief of the Management Section and fifteen policemen including Zhang Mingzhu and Lai Zhonghui used a torture technique on me called, "tying with ropes"[a specific torture in which the police tie up the practitioner with a thin rope, circle the rope around his neck, and tie his hands behind his back. Then the police use all the force they can muster to tighten the rope. The rope becomes tighter and tighter around the body of the practitioner, and makes it more and more difficult to breathe. The pain is so intense that the practitioner sometimes loses control of his bladder. There are instances when the rope was tightened enough to break a practitioner's arm.] Together they tortured me, violently beat me for several days for no reason, and deprived me of sleep.

Then the police transferred me to Division One. There, policeman Wang Yingzhou along with five other policemen again tortured me with the "tying with rope" torture. When I asked them why they were persecuting me, they told me it was because I had "minded others' business" -- that is, when another Falun Dafa practitioner was being violently attacked by a gang of criminals instigated by the police, I had tried to stop them.

Now their violent means of persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners are getting worse and worse. Policemen Han Qingshan, Lai Zhonghui, Wang Yingzhou, Qu Weiguang and others are in charge of persecuting practitioners along with forced brainwashing. They use means such as locking practitioners up in a small cell [the detainee is locked up alone in a very small cell. The guards handcuff the practitioner's hands behind their back in a fixed position, in which the practitioner can neither move nor lie down. The small cell is very damp and no sunshine comes in. Detainees have to urinate and defecate in the cell. Only half of a regular meal is served to detainees locked up in a small cell during the daytime. During the night rats run around. The stench in the cell is so bad that it is difficult to breathe.] They also deprive practitioners of sleep for several consecutive days. They direct criminals, such as Zhao Junmin, Xing Shuguo, Li Chunlong and others, to help them to persecute Falun Dafa practitioners. They strip practitioners naked and tie them on a steel bench in winter. Then, they open the window to let the cold air come in; it is so cold that water dripping from the window quickly turns to ice. While pouring cold water on the practitioner for two or three hours, two others take turns to fan the practitioner. While persecuting me by pouring cold water on me, they also forced excrement and urine into my mouth. The torture lasted a long time every time. They also grabbed my hair and hit my head against a billiard table and violently kicked me, injuring one of my legs. They have used every means of torture on me. My body and mind have been severely traumatized as a result of the constant torture and mental abuse.
