UK: Strong Support for the Human Rights of Dafa Practitioners Suffering in China at the Kingston Spring Fair


(Clearwisdom.net May 31, 2003) Kingston's annual spring fair was held on the 26th of May, and this year Falun Dafa practitioners had a stall there. A group of practitioners set up an information table to let people know more about the persecution in China and about Falun Gong. Exercise demonstrations took place throughout the day. Leaflets were handed out with the addresses of Falun Gong websites on them, as well as information about places where one can learn the exercises for free. The public offered a lot of strong support for the worldwide efforts to bring the persecution and human rights abuses against Falun Gong practitioners in China to an end. Many people signed a petition that was on the information table.

The sun shone all day and the beautiful Falun Gong exercises generated great interest among the crowds of people, many of whom wanted to learn. Immediately after sending forth righteous thoughts practitioners were surrounded by a crowd of children, all eager to learn the exercise movements. Practitioners taught them the exercises and also talked with their parents. All in all everyone had a beautiful day.
