USA: Pittsburgh Practitioners Introduce Falun Dafa and Collect Signatures at River Front Park (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) There were a lot of people visiting the River Front Park in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania over the Memorial Day weekend. Large-scale activities were held nearby including a Folk Festival and a baseball tournament. The nearby Science Center was filled with visitors. Pittsburgh Falun Dafa practitioners went to the River Front Park to introduce Falun Dafa and collect signatures in support of the rescue of American citizen, Falun Gong practitioner Charles Li and Mr. Yang Jingduan's elder sister, Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Yang Jingfang.

The practitioners hung Dafa banners and displayed poster boards, and then lined up to practice the five sets of Falun Gong exercises. The peaceful and harmonious energy field attracted many people. Two young men simply sat on the stage opposite and fixed their eyes on us. They were so attentive that even the practitioners who distributed Dafa literature and materials could not bear disturbing them. After quite a long time, one of them stood up and walked to our display boards. He carefully read and signed his name. Before leaving, he requested contact phone number and expressed that he would come to learn the exercises later. The other young man finished watching the sitting meditation and immediately began to learn the standing exercises. After signing his name, he went back to his seat on the stage and kept watching with a Jie Yin gesture.

Many tour buses passed by. Practitioners who distributed flyers wanted to pass the flyers to passengers. The drivers slowed down and asked for the flyers. Soon, We suddenly heard an American man's voice from a loud speaker, "Falun Dafa ... Freedom..." The driver was introducing Falun Dafa to his passengers. We were pleased for his enthusiasm and kindness.

A young couple were riding their bicycles along the riverfront. They stopped and listened to our explaining the facts about Falun Dafa. They were shocked at the persecution of Falun Gong and showed sympathy. After they signed their names and left for a while, they returned and hoped to get detailed information and the time and place of our regular practice. The young lady told the practitioners that she paints portraits. She hoped to sketch us while doing the exercises in future so that more people would learn about Falun Dafa.

There were a lot of touching stories during the two days' activities. Many people with a sense of justice in Pittsburgh believe that everybody enjoys freedom of beliefs, and any one who forces others to give up their faiths is committing crime, let alone Falun Dafa is so peaceful and harmonious, and Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is so good?
