By a Dafa Practitioner in China

(Clearwisdom.net) A fellow practitioner had a good job. Over a period of time he was required to work overtime frequently at his job, and after work he was busy printing truth-clarifying materials. He was exhausted from the tight schedule. Finally he decided to quit his job, taking the income loss. A few days after he resigned, the Police Department sent personnel to his former employer to look for him. He was fortunate that no one there knew where he lived or where he went; nothing happened to him that time. But unfortunately, within the next ten days he was illegally abducted, and since then we have not heard from him. I do not know the specific reason why he was abducted. I assume that he probably did not fully use the time after his resignation to read the Fa with a calm mind, and to adjust himself. He was probably just busy doing things.

After avoiding harassment or persecution, a fellow practitioner, while feeling fortunate, should also realize that he still has omissions within himself, and the omissions were the reasons the evil forces tried to persecute him. It isn't that Master doesn't protect us. It is we who don't do well. The old forces are beings of the old universe, and they guard the principles of the old universe with all their effort. They take whether a Dafa practitioner has cultivated to the standard as more important than the Fa-rectification. If a fellow practitioner does not look within for reasons after the evil has failed in attempts to persecute him, the old forces will think that his omissions are still there. Then, according to their principles, this practitioner has not passed the tribulation yet, and they would still need to test him using any excuse they can find. Once the evil beings catch his big mistake, they would use it as an excuse to persecute him. Some practitioners, after "avoiding the danger of being persecuted" last time, became negligent because they think that Master protects them. This is a strong attachment. The evil acts on this attachment to interfere with them and cause more trouble.

Actually, prior to being arrested, many fellow practitioners were alerted, hinted, or they even experienced danger but didn't get into trouble. I sincerely hope that fellow practitioners truly follow Master's teaching,

and correct any mistakes, including tiny ones, as preventative measures. We not only want to transcend the standard of the old universe, we must meet the absolutely pure standards of the new universe that are set according to the righteous Fa. We must do it well, give no excuses to the old forces to test and persecute us, and truly make all the living beings in the whole universe respect the mighty virtue of Dafa practitioners.
