1) Based on inside information from the police, police of Fangshan District, Beijing have illegally arrested many Dafa practitioners. They are calling their campaign the "countryside surrounding urban areas,"[a term used in warfare meaning that they will begin with the countryside and work towards the city] which initiates another round of persecution against Dafa practitioners.

2) Beifangzi Village Dafa practitioner Zhao Fugui of Mentougou District, Beijing city, was illegally detained at the Mentougou police station at noon on May 25th. Zhao Fugui is less than 30 years old and is an honest and diligent electrician. He was persecuted simply for upholding his belief in "Truth, Compassion, Forbearance."

3) In May, Huadi police station of Chaoyang district, Beijing, illegally arrested a female Dafa practitioner. Her home was ransacked and 18,000 Yuan [Chinese currency, the monthly salary for an average Chinese urban worker is about 500 Yuan] in cash was confiscated as well as a PC, cellular phone and other valuable items. Three of the practitioner's ribs were broken and she couldn't talk or eat after being brutally beaten by the police. The police were afraid and did not want to take responsibility, so they sent her back home. She is currently being closely monitored by the police.
