Ukraine: Falun Gong Practitioners Take Part in the 'Folklorama' Festival in Kiev (photos)

(Clearwisdom.net June 11, 2003) Kiev is the capital of the Ukraine. On the 7th and 8th of June, the Kiev City Administration, together with two other organizations, arranged a festival called 'Folklorama'. This festival focused on Ukraine's national traditions and was held in the State Museum of National Architecture and Lifestyle in Ukraine.

Practitioners took part in a concert, performing the Fan Dance and the Lotus Dance, while the five Falun Gong exercises were being demonstrated in the background. As well as an exercise demonstration and the dance performances, all of the practitioners who were present sang a song that they had composed entitled 'Way Home', and the Ukrainian folk song 'Wreath'.

After the performances, the dances were again demonstrated for a Ukrainian television channel. A local newspaper and radio station also interviewed practitioners.
