Dafa Practitioner Ms. Ma Zhanmei Dies of Brutal Force-feeding at the Baoding Labor Camp in Hebei Province

Baoding Labor Camp in Hebei Province has been illegally detaining Dafa practitioners from various places in the province ever since Jiang started the persecution of Falun Gong. The police there use all means possible to torture Dafa practitioners.

Dafa practitioner Ms. Ma Zhanmei was from Laiyuan, Hebei Province. She had been subjected to all kinds of torture at the labor camp; however, she never gave up her belief in "Truthfulness-Benevolence-Forbearance." She went on hunger strikes many times to protest the illegal detention and persecution. In early May 2003, the police force-fed her barbarously, which led to Ms. Ma's painful death. Because the police are tightly blocking the news, the details of her death are yet to be investigated.

At present, many Dafa practitioners are still being illegally detained at this labor camp. Every day they are suffering from inhumane torture. We hope that practitioners who read this news send forth righteous thoughts to help detained practitioners get out of the labor camp sooner.
