(Clearwisdom.net)

There are three cadres in the Finance and Economic Leadership Team of Jilin Province who are Dafa practitioners. Ms. Hao Xiulan was a section chief. After practicing Dafa, she was removed from her post . Mr. Wang Wei and Ms. Chen Jing were also officials of this team, both well respected at the workplace.

On March 31 and April 1 of 2003, those three practitioners were illegally arrested one after another by officers from the First Section of Changchun City Police Department. On the day that Wang Wei was arrested, he was brutally tortured. Chen Jing was physically abused to the point of near death. The police saw her condition and wanted to push responsibility back to the work unit. When the management from the work unit saw what they had done to Ms. Chen, they were very angry and scolded the police for their actions.

Currently Chen Jing's life still hangs in balance at the hospital's emergency room. Presently Hao Xiulan and Wang Wei are still being illegally detained.
