Lawless Officials Suppress Photographic Evidence after Falun Gong Practitioner is Brutally Beaten by the Police in Suining City, Sichuan Province

(Clearwisdom.net 5/27 news) This article reveals only some fragments of the persecution a Falun Gong practitioner suffered. This practitioner is from Suining City in Sichuan Province. He was brutally beaten by police during two imprisonments. His liver was traumatized and ruptured, and suffered massive hemorrhage. The doctors, nurses, and journalists in the hospital all witnessed this persecution, but the lawless officials in Suining City pressured the jounalists and supressed the exposure of truth. Later, the Dafa practitioner was able to regain his health due to Dafa's miraculous effects; however, he was forced to leave home and become destitute to avoid further persecution.

At midnight on February 16, 2002, after making some Dafa truth clarifying materials, he was kidnapped on his way home by four police officers from Hengshan Town Police Station. As soon as he arrived at the local police station, this Dafa practitioner was then kicked and beaten brutally by Qin Mingde, Gong Rongfa and two other policemen, who took turns torturing him mercilessly. He was beaten with cuts and bruises all over his body, and he passed out. The police still did not stop. They cuffed his hands behind his back onto a chair. After he regained consciousness, they started to beat him mercilessly again in order to extort a confession to find out where he got the truth clarifying materials. This Dafa practitioner refused to cooperate with them. The police then transferred him to Lingquansi Detention Center. The wardens there ordered the prisoners in the same cell to torture and beat him. One month later, he was transferred to Wujiawan Detention Center where the police brutally beat him and did not give him any food to eat. Only after his life was clearly in danger did they inform his family to come and take him out. His family was extorted 20,000 Yuan*. He was imprisoned for 64 days.

After going home, this Dafa practitioner still remained steadfast in his belief in Teacher, and Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance. Before long, he regained his health. Within less than a month, police from Xining Town Police Station, Liu Dawei, Tang Xiaohong and Yan and Station Chief Xiang broke into his home around 10 p.m. on May 20 and cuffed his hands behind his back. They also illegally ransacked his home. They found one piece of truth-clarifying material and forcefully kidnapped him. They kept beating him mercilessly on the way to the local police station. Later, he was locked in the Xining Town Police Station. The thugs from the local police station and "610 office,"** Liu Dawei, Tang Xiaohong, Yan, and the chief police Xiang--ten people altogether--took turns torturing him from 10 p.m. to 3 a.m. He spat massive amounts of blood; only then, did the thugs call an ambulance to take him to the hospital. He was put on oxygen and received first aid as soon as he was in the ambulance. In the hospital, after inspection, the doctors found that his liver was ruptured and bleeding massively. The doctors immediately used a big syringe to suck out the accumulated blood from inside his abdomen. The next morning, the doctor diagnosed that he must undergo surgery to have the blood clots inside his abdomen removed. At the same time, the hospital also made a report of his critical illness. Fearful of being held responsible, the evil people immediately informed his family to go to Xining Town "610 Office." They also told his family members that if they turned in 5000 Yuan, the police would release the practitioner. His family members demanded to see him. The vicious police lied and said that he suffered from a heart attack and was sent to the hospital. This practitioner's wife was very startled and said, "My husband had absolutely no illness when he was home yesterday. How come he was with you for only one night, and he became ill?" When his family saw him, he was lying in the hospital bed by himself. His body was covered with cuts and bruises, and he was in critical condition. All the vicious thugs had disappeared.

Seeing this, his family members knew that he was not sick at all, but had been beaten and tortured mercilessly. They immediately called the other family members and relatives to come to the hospital. When they saw him, they were all very shocked. Therefore, they decided to appeal, and also told Suining City journalists the truth. The journalists, doctors, and the nurses were all very angry at what had happened after witnessing this persecution. Who could be so cruel to a person who would not retaliate when hit and cursed? The journalists took over ten photos of his body with cuts and bruises all over, intending to publish them in the newspaper. However, the municipal government, the police department, the court, and "610 Office" all stepped in and did not allow the publication of the photos. On the morning of May 21, doctors were getting ready to give him surgery. However, the CT showed that although his liver was damaged, there were no blood clots in his abdomen any more. Under the miraculous protection of Dafa, he was dismissed from the hospital in four days.

This Dafa practitioner has now been forced to become destitute and homeless in order to avoid more illegal persecution from the lawless thugs in Suining City. After he left home, the police in Xining Town were still harassing his family members.

*Yuan is the Chinese currency. The average monthly salary of an urban worker in China is 500 Yuan.

**"610 Office" is an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems.
