There is a criminal inmate in one of the county detention centers in Northeast China who often beats Falun Gong practitioners. One time he said, "I'll beat you till you can't breathe! " while he was beating the practitioner. Some practitioners told him if he continued hurting good people he would incur karmic retribution, but he would not listen. A couple of days later, he experienced difficulty breathing. The prison doctor came to examine him and found that he had developed pulmonary emphysema. His prison term was almost up and he was to be released soon, but now he was very sick. On the day that he was released, his family members transported him directly to the hospital for medical treatment. Since then, the other criminals in the detention center do not dare to beat Dafa practitioners because they know they will incur karmic retribution.

Three president or vice president level officials in a detention center received karmic retribution after persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners. One of the vice presidents is the cousin of a practitioner. This practitioner visited him and found that his eyes were not able to focus straight ahead and his mouth was crooked, and he felt lots of pain in his mouth for no visble reason. After the practitioner talked to him, he learned that the three officials had all incurred karmic retribution because they had persecuted Dafa practitioners. The president and another vice president crashed into a large tree while riding a motorcycle and they were both hospitalized for their injuries. The one with the lowest rank among the three only suffered from a mysterious pain in his mouth. The practitioner said, "You must have done something that hurt the practitioners." He said, "I never beat practitioners." The practitioner replied, "You must have said something in support when somebody else beat the practitioners, so now you feel pain in your mouth." He admitted doing so. The practitioner took out the truth-clarifying materials that he had brought along with him and gave them to his cousin to read. His cousin promised that he would never again do anything that would hurt Falun Dafa practitioners. A couple of days later, his mouth pain was gone. One day, a truth-clarifying letter was mailed to this detention center. Everybody read it together. Somebody asked him what he thought about the Falun Gong practitioners. He stuck up his thumb and said, "They are all good people."

Two policemen, one named Zhou (male, over 40 years old) and the other named Qu Fuliang (male, over 40 years old) from Dixiongshan County, Fengshen City, Liaoning Province closely followed Jiang's political gang of scoundrels to relentlessly persecute Dafa practitioners. On about July 24 or 25, 1999, they went to practitioners' homes to confiscate the Dafa books. On the way back, both were injured badly in a motorcycle accident. Now, Zhou remains in a comatose state, while Qu Fuliang is disabled and requires two canes to walk.

Cui Jinghua used to work for multiple departments in Dacheng County, Hebei Province. He was a researcher in the Water and Irrigation Department in Langfang city before he retired. After the persecution of Falun Dafa began, this person attacked and slandered Dafa and it's founder everywhere by writing poems. In January 2002, he started to use his own money to publish 1000 copies of his poems. He sold and distributed them everywhere, poisoning many people. During the Spring festival of 2003, he distributed his slanderous poems among his relatives and friends; then while he was waiting for a bus to go home, he was hit by a car and killed.

A student with the surname Zhou in Zhou Village, Fuchaolou Township, Taikang County, Henan province was very hostile to Falun Dafa and was against his parents' cultivation practice. In March 2001, he took advantage of his parents not being home and turned in their Falun Dafa books to the county police station. He also reported a couple of local practitioners to the police. As a result, every practitioner was fined nearly 3,000 Yuan. His immoral and disloyal behavior was censured by many local people. That same year, he drowned after being admitted to college.

He Qingxin, a representative from the Office of Industry and Commerce in Dahe Village, Lincai Town, Huaiyang County, Henan Province was not only determined to take advantage of his position for personal interest, but also he was very cruel and oppressive of the people. He made a lot of money reporting practitioners to the authorities. One day, after he lost money gambling, he acted irrationally toward the villagers. As a result, someone beat him badly, which caused him to be injured almost everywhere. Many people watched the scene but nobody came forward to help. Even two of his brothers turned away after they saw this.

He Feng, head of Dahe village, Lincai town, Huaiyang County, Henan Province, is perverse and has done all kinds of evil things. He is especially cruel to Dafa practitioners. He often announced through high-volume speakers that so much money would be awarded to anyone who reported a practitioner. Because some practitioners wore Falun badges and did Falun Dafa exercises at home, many times he and officers from the local police station abducted them. Many practitioners were detained and fined. He Feng' father, He Mingjin, is even more vicious and confrontational. He often cursed Falun Dafa and it's founder. One day, he discovered that he had heart disease. He was sent to the hospital right away and almost lost his life. His brother He Xiangyang is also a troublemaker. After he was released from prison in August 2001, he died within 6 months and the cause is still unclear. His son He Xiaowei, who is about 13 or 14 years old, is retarded. He became lost one winter, but He Feng did not want to look for him. Under pressure from his family and neighbors, he had to post a message to look for his son. When found, his son was near death and had frostbite all over his body.

It is these kinds of people who do not even care for their families that go out of their way to persecute Dafa practitioners.
