Police Brutally Beat An 18-Year Old Girl In Shuangyashan City, Heilongjiang Province Forcing Her To Become Homeless

(Clearwisdom.net) Sun Shuyan is an 18-year old Dafa practitioner in Shuangyashan City, Heilongjiang Province. Both her parents are Dafa disciples, who had been to Beijing four times, just to appeal for the freedom to practice her belief. One year ago, both her parents were illegally sent to the labor camp again. The police often came and harassed her as she lived at home alone. So she had to go live with her grandparents. However, the local police in her grandparents town stopped her, saying that by living with her grandparents meant she was "establishing ties [between practitioners]" as her mother's father was also a practitioner. She thus decided to go to live with her father's parents. However, her uncle, who was deceived by the Jiang Regime's lies, threatened to send her to the police.

The homeless girl Sun had to live in an apartment rented by a fellow practitioner. However, in mid-April, police came and kidnapped her. Police from the "610 Office" beat practitioners very hard. Zhang Hongbo, who was also kidnapped together with Sun, was bruised all over her body due to the inhuman beating, and her stomach was severely damaged.

The police involved in persecuting Sun Shuyan and Zhang Hongbo include: Li Xue, Zhao Jingfang, Li Hongbo, Liu Weiguo, Men Xiaofeng, Wang Yuting, Bai Shuwen, Xu Enjiang, Zhu Yaru, as well as others whose names are unknown.

Liu Yan, a female Dafa practitioner, was a nurse working in the People's Hospital in Shuangyashan City, Heilongjiang Province. Since she was released from the labor camp in June 2000, her work unit had used various excuses and refused to resume her work. In December 2002, she was illegally kidnapped, sent to the Shuangyashan Detention Center, and was released one month later, In March 2003, fearing Liu may go to Beijing again, her working unit colluded with Shuangyashan Police Station and she was sent to the detention center once again. At the detention center, the doctor instigated prisoners to force-feed Liu, and they damaged two of her teeth. After the illegal detention for half a month, she was released. However, her work unit still did not resume her work with the excuse of not writing "the letter of warranty [promising not to appeal for Dafa]." Liu currently could only receive a pension as a "laid off employee."
