Seven Dafa Practitioners in Guiyang City, Guizhou Province Illegally Sentenced to More Than 10 Years in Prison

The Guiyang City Court of Guizhou Province illegally put Falun Dafa practitioners on trial on May 8^th and May 16^th, 2003. Falun Dafa practitioner Zhao Echuan has been illegally sentenced to 15 years in prison. Another practitioner with the last name of Zhao (first name unknown) was also sentenced to 15 years. Peng Jinping received a sentence of 13 years; Wei Lizhu 13 years; Ma Tianjun and Li Yi each 11 years; Li Yinrui 10 years.

The following are Falun Dafa practitioners known to be illegally detained in each detention center in Guiyang City: Mo Qi, Mo Daiqiong, Li Ze-e, Liu Shengying, Liu Bo, Ma Tianjun, Wen Ronghua, Wu Xuelan, Li Yi, Huang Lei, Cao Jun, Du Chengjun, Zheng Gang, Zhang Lei, Xu Changjin, Peng Jinping, Zhao Echuan, Zhao (first name unknown), Li Yinrui, Wei Lizhu, Tang Wenping. There are many others whose names not known.

Additionally, there are many Falun Dafa practitioners being mistreated in the labor camps, especially in Zhongba Women's labor camp, where they are holding more than 100 female Falun Dafa practitioners.

Falun Dafa practitioners are also being abducted and sent to Jinzhu Town Brainwashing Class in Guiyang City. Some policemen in the detention centers and local stations are conducting brutal torture of Falun Dafa practitioners.

Policemen in Xingguan Road Substation force-fed Falun Dafa practitioners a hot chili pepper solution, and slapped their faces with the soles of their shoes. Police in the No.2 Detention Center forced Falun Dafa practitioners who went on hunger strike to sleep on the Dead Person's Bed wearing ankle shackles*. Police officer Chen Gang, a member of the Criminal Investigation Team, is especially vicious. He burned Teacher's photo, threw Teacher's photo on the floor, and forced practitioners to step on it. He shouted, "This is to let you see the power of the police." There are many Falun Dafa practitioners in Guizhou Province--especially in Guiyang City--who have been illegally abducted, detained or sentenced to labor camps and prisons. In spite of this persecution, they are very determined and cannot be corrupted by any person by any means. Revered Teacher, please be assured, and also fellow practitioners overseas, do not worry, we will firmly hold our righteous thoughts, help Teacher do Fa-rectification in the world with unshakable faith, and have more innocent lives know the truth and obtain a beautiful future.

*Dead Person's Bed: The four limbs of the practitioner are stretched out and tied to the four corners of an icy-cold metal bed. The practitioner cannot move at all, nor is he allowed to get up to eat, drink, or go to the bathroom. This treatment will last from several hours up to more than a dozen days. This type of cruel torture causes severe damage to the practitioner both mentally and physically.
