Predestined Relationship

A practitioner looked in his phone book and accidentally ran across the name of an old man he had not seen for long time. So, he called to greet him. The old man had done a great deal of public welfare for the local people. Recently though, he had given up hope. Since the local economy had declined and there were serious changes at home, he was even contemplating suicide.

After learning about the elderly man's depressed state of mind the practitioner took some food to his house, sat with him and told him the truth about the persecution along with the principles of being human. After their talk, the old man changed his mind about committing suicide.

Since then, the practitioner visits him often and their discussion about Falun Dafa has progressed to more profound levels. One day, the old man said, "I have heard all the basic truths. Could you please tell me something in depth?" So, the practitioner gave him a set of Master's lectures and songs composed by practitioners. Every day since then, the old man has listened to those lectures and songs. His wife had wanted a divorce, but now she wants to stay with him. To everyone she meets, his wife says, "Falun Dafa is good" and sometimes she hands out Dafa truth-clarifying materials. Because this old man is well known in the area, almost everyone believes what he says and nobody is against him after he clarifies truth to them. Presently he is in good spirits, no longer ill, and his family is harmonious again. He gives thanks to Dafa from the bottom of his heart.
